actually it does have 1% viral accuracy bonus, which would provide a better chance of "successfully launching a virus", however there are quite a few other items out there in the form of glasses, not launchers, that provide quite a bit more accuracy, as well as damage, along with resistances.
I agree with ShiZinFeng though, I'd love to see a new launcher come out, somethign that is semi-difficult to get, that would provide quite a boost to viral hackers in terms of accuracy and/or damage bonuses.
Yeah, but when I think "Accuracy" that means to actually hit with a hack, adding concentration bonus would make the "successfully launching a virus" part in its details more true seeing how it would help your hacks from being interupted from outside fire. And that launcher's detail I took a screenshot of it only like lvl15. I'm gonna agree with Gerik, specialised equipment in the form of a launcher for Hackers is a nice idea for a lvl 50 item that takes something to actually get. Perhaps even something in addition to decent hacker attributes like a green glow or a green 'red eye effect' from the reticule. Something which differentiates it from other lower level launchers and perhaps making it more desirable to Hackers.
I'm gonna suggest that a mod put this in the development roundtable for greater exposure.
