Funerals. For the past three days, the word funerals has been the most repeated word on Dr. Bourdeaux's planner. His face nearly permenantly adamant as we walked past the front desk.
As we was about to sit down for seemingly the first time all day... he noticed something.. an envelope. He rubbed his dreary eyes and scanned through the letter...

His hand instinctivly found its way to his key-pocket when he realized he had left it in the office, the day the Merovech broke in. Tranque rubbed his temples, and took out his cell.

He closed his office door behind him, and leaned onto it. He finished his last funeral for a long time, so he wished. He took off his glasses and plopped them onto the desk lethargically.

"Sieges? I need a bit of consult down at the office.. could you spare a moment?" Tranque said with a tone of exhaustion and annoyance to his voice.
"Well.. I was doing an Archive, but I'll make my way. History can wait." replied Sieges with a slightly more upbeat tone.
Tranque returned to his desk and put his glasses on, resting his head on his arm as the minutes past.
BZZRT, a buzzing of the entrance lock startled him from a nap. As Sieges entered, he reached for his glasses and put them back on. He and directed Sieges to the cabinet...

"Sieges, hm.. I am having an issue. One is a letter from the Merovech blackmailing me and claiming they have an entire construct on "disc" which I believe they have mistaken my access key for a "Construct Disc" which to be frank is impossible. Second, I cannot access my patient files without the file key. Any advice or comments, my mind is worn for the day and I thought you might have been in a more lively state of mind." said Tranque with a quick and frank tone to his voice.
Sieges scratched the back of her head and stated, "Well.. okay, if this construct is a place right? Well, whenever I used to lose my keys, which I did frequently, I always had to call the landlord of the apartment to get a replacement set. So uh, who made your construct?"
"The Landlord. Hm.. your right. One second, I need to have Ernest place the paperwork from the Contracting of it into my jacket when we hardline into creston. Sieges, your a lifesaver."
--
The black sedan awaited them as they exited the hardline. Being driven to the Landlord's Office, they noticed a shaggy tattood man on the side of a construction site. Sieges tapped the drivers shoulder signalling him to stop as they exited...
They approached the Landlord, and as they did, the Landlord shooed away some construction supervisor and said mildly enthused.
"Eh, Dr. Bourdeaux right? Hows business?"
"Fine, a bit.. rough these days. Hm, do you recall the file construct you had contracted for me?"
"Yeah, real piece of work to create a small construct. And I ain't bein sarcastic. I mean normally people want a grassy hill and a tree or some crap but to create a construct the size of a file cabinet? That takes a nice piece-a delicacy for that!"
"Yes.. it is very well coded.. but it seems I have lost my access code."
"Ack, the problem with you redpills is, you always think you gotta have a terminal to manage the locks in order to secure crap, when all you need is a good hard metal key. And I can't make you up a new key unless you got the paperwork from the contrac--"

"Here it is" said Tranque, cutting off the Landlords rant.
"I guess I shoulda expected this from you, eh? Alright.. I'll take the liberty to disabling the lock frequency from the access codes, so whoever picks up that access code at Pegs Diner wont be able to access anything but a nice brickwall. And eh, gimme a few to cook up the key for you..."
The Landlord took out a cellular phone and made a call. Ten minutes later of chatting and schmoozing, an office intern runs up to the landlord with an envelope and nervously runs back to the building.
"Here ya go Doc, just dont lose this one, alright?"
"I'll be sure to keep it on my person from now on, thank you."
Tranque and Sieges entered the black sedan and were being driven back to the office.
"Sieges, do you really think they thought they could get away with it? Its somewhat like a burglar stealing someones house keys then expecting them to crawl back to them for the keys?"
"To be honest with you, I have no idea whats going through their minds right now, I just know that we don't want to be a part of it. "
"Agreed" said tranque, as he filled two champagne glasses from the incar Champagne cooler.
