My final semester of college begins in 8 hours. I know most high schools started last week or so, but I thought it'd be interesting to see what everyone is taking this semester.
Here's what I'm taking:
Marching Band
Jazz Band
Trombone Choir
Trombone Lessons (1-on-1 sessions with the prof to improve personal technique)
Communications Research (the only class I need to graduate)
Beginning Acting
Special Topics: American Cinema of the 1980's

well im off at college, not high school. i have a pretty easy semester this year.
monday, wednesday:
principles of marketing 11:00 am - 12:15 pm
the unix system 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm
tuesday, thursday:
intermediate programming in C++ 9:30 am - 10:45 am
bowling 1 (yah, im getting college credit to learn to bowl) 2:00 pm - 2:50 pm

However, two years ago I would have been doing the following (after another month's holiday):
- Advanced Theoretical Physics - Advanced Astrophysics - Theoretical Astronomy (seeing a pattern emerge?) - Master's project: augmenting dark matter halo merger trees

This is at Leicester University.
Last Year I was doing English and Film Studies as a supplement, which entailed:
English: - 'The Novel' - Boring - 'An introduction to English Literature' - Semi-Interesting - 'History of the English Language' - Awesome (Seriously) - Shakespeare + contemporaries -- Say what you will, he wrote good plays.
Film: - 'Reading Film' - Mediocre - 'Realism and the Cinema' - Awesome
And this year, I drop the supplementary and do the main thing, so this year it's:
English: - I have no idea yet.

Jeez.. "College" is going to suck with all those parties going on. I guess Im going to have to close myself off and study for that diploma.

Well, this week I'm finishing up my finals, so i'm still in my "Summer semester" of college/uni for Graphic Design (Year round courses, but I get a Bachelor's Degree in 3 years, woohoo).
I have been taking,
Information Design
Senior Portfolio (twice a week)
Advertising Concept Design
Microbiology
[corresponding labs for design classes that do nothing but take up time]
After this week is over, I have about a week's break until my final semester begins... unless of course another tropical storm and/or hurricane delays it for a week or something. o.O Then, I begin my hardest schedule ever!: /sarcasm;
Economics
Internship <-- which basically means getting myself another, higher paying job, which I do have set up. Yay!
Then I'm done in December!

Be signing up next semester for Criminal justice degree. Dont know if i should attend the local community college or go to those direct course ones. Itt tech or something. Dam expensive tho. $2600 for just an online class. Fook

Evidently so. I took Podcasting back at the beginning of the summer. I was in need of 2 more credits to qualify for my scholarship and I'm an '80s movie buff, so I figured it'd be an easy A. I'll find out tomorrow when I actually have it though.

Computer Science 101 (Intro to C++ Programming)
All my classes are M W F, so Im pretty loaded on those days.

Penn State drops the Chem requirement on Engineering Degrees if its a Computer Science major. Instead we have to pass CompSci122 instead of Chem110.
