Hi. Well I downloaded the hotfix Thurs. evening, logged into the game, started a mission and as I was headed to the waypoint, the game completely froze up. I tried to relog, but the game could barely bootup. The screen was flickering a lot. It appeared to be a graphics issue, so I checked if there was an updated driver from ATI & there was. So I installed the new drivers, tried to log into the game and had the same problem. Then I checked to be sure my GPU's were working correctly and they were. I tried rolling back the drivers to a previous version and that doesn't help. Then I tried defragging my drives and that hasn't helped. I re-patched the game from the launcher and that didn't work. All I can think is that the hotfix broke something. Now none of my games work correctly. This is awesome.

UPDATE: Turns out one of my GPU's is fried SMILEY

so when I was trying to operate in CrossFire mode none of the games worked right. /disregard

I had a similar problem today with another game. My graphics card *failed* then recovered several times and then froze everything. Not sure whats happening.

Something that might help is that SOE doesnt always support your latest graphic card driver. Use the link on the forums to download the latest ones they do support for your card. I use a nvidia card and a couple times I have updated to the newest drivers just to have issues in-game.

Also I have found out that with the latest drivers for my nvidia card that when updating I cant have my hdtv or anything plugged into it or it freezes.

I had the same problem the other day just after the hotfix. Have yet to re-log.
When the camera was looking in certain directions the world textures (shading issue?) went black except for the HUD interface.
I'll let you know how it turns out tonight.

i think this is problem that can only be patched to fix cause yea this isnt the same matrix.
