Oddly quiet, it was, not even the birds seemed interested in coming out today. A light breeze rustled the leaves now and again, and the sound of a passing car in the distance were the only things keeping Tosuno's attention focused on where he actually was. That, and the constant distant gunshot the city had come so accustomed too.

He opened his eyes finally, and light invaded every part of his vision. Still, though the intensity, he could make out the bench that sat lifelessly in front of him, and the paved walkway that ran from left to right. The trees loomed over, careless of what was happening as they sat drinking in the sun light Tosuno now fought to be rid of. He smirked, using his hand to shade his brow for a moment. With a slightly clearer few, he could now make out something rolling on the ground, being bullied and pushed by the wind until it came to a hault at the leg of bench in front of him.

He tilted his head a moment, replacing his makeshift awning that was his gloved hand, with a pair of sunglasses. Slowing standing, stretching every join in his body to life he stepped towards the sun for a moment, taking in it's heat, before leaning over, picking up the intruding paper.

His eyes scanned the words written across in all different forms of size and fonts. His lips betrayed his other wise stoic features with another smirk. 'Quarantine Notice.'

He looked up, pulling his dreadlocks away from his face to let the sun light warm him once again. "I require.... a sample."

Step by step, Tosuno walked down the streets of Lucero Point, an unerving silnence to hsi steps. His head hung low, deep in though, his hands comfortably wraped within his coat pockets. Now and then he would wipe away the rain from his sunglasses with his sleeve.

"How," he wondered, "how to get close to the one valled Mendelevius?" This question was all he had his mind on for the past night. A sample of the Mendelevius code would be very useful to him. Still, he could not let himself become to dependent on it. After all, Mendelevius would only be a catalyst amung many.

Tosuno lifted his vision to meet that of a skulking Bluepill dow nthe way, whom instantly drew hsi coward gaze down to the ground. The man did not appear at all "well off," dressed in dirt and rags. he was leaning in against a bench that sat under a small awning. His body shivered slightly, and Tosuno could not help bt find the image somewhat amusing. He smirked as he walked by, though carelessly ignored the Blue Pill.

Them, he heard a familiar sound. His body shivered slightly at the sensation, as the system shifted around him. Tosuno stopped, his smirk turning to grin momentarily, then back to match the rest of his apathetic face.

Thunder rippled far off in the distance.

"Well... well... well. Mr. Kahr." The cold voice shot from behind him. Tosuno looked over his shoulder casually, no longer looking back at the pathetic Blue Pill, but rather an al lto familer middle aged man in a suit.

"Agent Lee." Was all he said, nodding his head slightly.

Tosuno had a history with this Agent. A long time ago, a rivalry was formed between these two. Ever since Tosuno's first encoutner with an Agent program, Lee has bee nthere to hunt Tosuno down. Though, neither of them would admit it, they were always, in some whay, excited by the idea of fighting each other.

Lee made a move, stepping foreward ready to grab Tosuno, but was suddenly grabbed himself as a ghostly pale hand reached over the Agents shoulder. The Agent turned quickly ready to strike, but was to late. The unknown attacker thrust his fist into the Agents chest, driving him back int othe hold of Tosuno.

"Lee... This time, you'll be the one to run away," Tosuno whispered under his breath to the Agent as he tried to get free. To Lee's suprise, he could not escape the humans hold.

Then something came over the Agent he had not felt before. His body felt stone, and cold. A pain in his chest slowly grew until it wasnearly unbareable. Though paralyzed, the Agent was able to lower his site enough to glimpse the blackness that was begining to consume him. Like a shadow, the enigma moved over his body, arms, legs, and eventually consumed him entirely.

Tosuno dropped the eclipsed figure, and the blackness began to fade away. What was left of the Agent was gone now. Once again, the Blue Pill from before stood, but changed. his skin was aple, like a ghost. Hair, bleached white, and eyes, black and souless. His clothing had even changed to jet black style of the original rags. The Blue Pill turned to face Tosuno, as did the original attacker of the Agent who aided Tosuno, whom looked a similar fashion to the now viral infected Blue Pill.

Tosuno pulled his sunglasses down his nose, looking over the two men through his poison yellow eyes. A flick of his wrist, and a wave of his hand, and the two figured faded to shadow. Tosuno looked up, the rain still fell, but it was begining to lighten up. Finally, the answer came to him.

"I must find the one man who can get me close enough... Freelancer."

There were three of them, standing there watching me. Cold empty stares, and hardened faces watched me waitng for a monent to strike... It was a showdown of sorts between them and I and I knew that regardless of the choices I made at this point it wasn't going to end well. They were talking in low hushed tones between themselves, and the only thing I could make out of what they were saying, was 'In Mendelevius we trust...' I kept hearing that over and over, and as I was trying to back away slowly, and make a run for cover, I felt something hit the back of my neck with enough force to knock me off my feet. I had the fortune to land on my back as I fell, and I caught a glimpse of the man who had hit me, and the look in his eyes scared me. He pulled me up by the collar of my shirt, and as I was struggling to get to my feet I was being dragged into a building. A faint almost oily sounding voice whispered in my ear, 'Join us and you will be spared, fight us and you only delay the death that waits for you.' A sudden feeling of nausea settled into the pit of my stomach, as I remembered where I had heard those words before, and to think that the nightmare was happening all over again was almost enough to knock me to the ground once again. 'You can't be serious,' I said as I made an attempt to break free from the man holding on to the collar of his shirt, "There is no future other than death if I were to join you, and you know that.' As the last of what I had said came out of my mouth, I felt another sharp pain as someone's fist collided with the right side of my jaw. The pain and anger I was feeling combined in such a way that I couldn't make a move no matter how hard I tried, and they knew I was getting weak. 'Three days, Viral, and then you have to make a decision,' the man holding on to me said, 'You will join us or die..."
