You can't use contractions like 'execs' or 'P.R' in a newspaper.

I've seen them used in the Boston Herald all the time...

You know, I totally forgot about the Pearl Phoenix Dojo (mentioned in the old Tyndall's City Guide) until it was referenced in this issue of the Sentinel.  Good to see someone still reads those old articles.

It's a shame.  When I was young they taught us that newspapers could be depended upon to always use perfect formal english but these days you see all kinds of things 'slip through'.

Out of curiousity, does anyone still archive the sentinels? Its a little dissheartening that we lose the previous issue each time it's updated.

As soon as I get my site going, I plan to archive Chadwick, LESIG, and Algorithm: Black Sentinels at http://www.watchingeverythingandeveryone.com

We live in a day and time where everyone is trying to cut costs. Newspapers spend money per character printed, so they take shortcuts. It may not seem like much to the average Joe, but over time it adds up.

Wow, i'm actually quite surprised at the number of things supporting mine and ijaking's speculation as presented in this thread within this issue.

Also, anyone willing to share some of their image fragments with me for the sake of trying to confirm some stuff, please PM. I think getting these things together now is more important than ever, especially when we may be so close to the answers we all need.

Good to see a new Sentinel. And thank you LESIG for keeping up with it.

edit: i agree with the comments on the orgs below, but i liked the other extra stuff in there

Am I the only one that's just a little bit disappointed with the Organizational links and how they are written? Most if not all of them you can defiantly tell the writing style has all but changed. Using EPN as an example the style Chadwick used was more metaphoric and borderline spiritual. These past two have been all but boring and straight forward with a mention of Neo thrown into the mix which i can't help but think is the writers attempt to at least try and capture the EPN feel.

Same with the cyphs. These last two don't give me the impression at all that it is Cryptos or Veil writeing it but so no name Cyph.

Idk I realize this is only issue two and we can't expect them to be dead on and perfect but just felt this was worth voicing.

Yeah, the little org messages were bland and almost uniform, I felt.

But hey, new Sentinel.
