Hey this is Zensnipe, co-captain of up and coming pvp faction (zen leagacy) for the machines on vector. I started a original thread on vector. but decided to move it here, if a thread for this already exists, pls tell me.

Also this is a brainstorming thread. . That means be open minded dont just yell at them that they are stupid and it will never work. blah blah blah.

Here are some ideas me and my faction have come up with.

1. raise the lvl cap, even if this takes awile it should be done all the lvl 50's (on vector especialy) have gotten to comftorble being the top dog. this would put some pressure on them again, so they can't just sit on there butts. taking pottshots at lowbies all day.

2. maybe a prestige class, like City of villian/hero does, and WOW (BOO!) is doing soon. might encourge players to get more active, if there was an incentive to reach 50.     My idea's

       a. for the mervoginian, you can make a class like the Twins.

       b. the machines, get agent's. (smith maybye?) and he could have temporary mind control over things. (machine override. or smiths hand thing)

       c. for Zion, the Two. preatty much the One exept weaker, so that every one isn't zion so they can kill Everyone.

   I understand that the matrix team does not have the time, to do anything right away. but the matrix has not changed to much, and adding stuff might make it mor popular. siphon off some of Wow's fan's (death to blizzards, mmo's)

3. this might already be in place. wouldn't know as i have only played vector. but allow players on syntax, and recurrison to permanatly turn on pvp. (wussies, just play on vector if you wanns pvp)(ps. that last comment is for anyone who wants to get to 50 before they pvp, so they wont be killed by the big bad bad guys.) if you had started as a non-pvp, and want to switch to it with out leveling a new char on vector, no problems there.

All i can think of atm. please leave posts. on any ideas/comments/criticism you have. (just be nice as i said before, this is brainstorming dont keep yelling about how stupid an idea is). i hope sony implaments some of the ideas that get on this forum. would be awsome SMILEY.

It's likely that this will recieve the same response as it got on the Vector boards.

It's all good and well coming up with ideas like this, but there simply isn't the manpower available in MxO for this to happen. Anything like this would take Rarebit a LONG time to work up. If he could even do it... considering we lack and animator and many other things...

Rare still does as much as he can though, and we have to appreciate that, he works hard to bring us new things with little resources.

Raising the level cap (although we've seen the issues the game has with xp awards for anything over lvl 50) would give most people about a week or two, maybe 3 of grinding then most will be at the same position again. There is nothing, at the moment, to gain by increasing the cap and a lot of things to solve in order to do so.

A lot of people complain about the grinding to lvl 50, I doubt the Dev's would want to introduce more grinding for levels, not when a lot of people are involved with grinding for items of clothing too.

Similar ideas have been put forward before a good many times and it comes down to basically what Brommerz said.

i do not agree..the different builds the memory from that level change would open up would keep the vets busy for quite a while ;p

I say just make some sort of quest or difficult mission that allows us to increase our memory a max of say 15.

Personally Im only crying for one thing in MxO, that has been thought of in and out since beta.
Cars man, Cars...

I mean we have the models, we see the blues drive by all the time, and we have the dodging animations. Hell from what little I know about coding and game making, couldnt it be a simple matter of putting the character into a model of the vehicle, increasing the movement speed, and increcing the size of the character's "size" (when the character hits a wall, the size of the character to say that it hit or missed said object)? And same goes with Helicopters as flying mount types, simply adding vertical movement.

Yeah I know our travel is pretty much instantanious with HLs, hyperjumping, and subways, but even in the movies, sometimes a kick *** super powered human needs a sweet ride too.

From what I've been able to make out from all the searches I've done on the topic, the game engine does not support the usage of vehicles.

Well that's what I'm saying though, it seems like you could just "cheat" vehicle use, give the model luggable characteristics, add some movement buffs and the sitting debuffs, and I'd call it a car.

But like I said, "What little I know about coding and game making", it seems easier than it probably is.

Alright, for one thing the lvl cap can be broken, alot of people don't know this but the longer your in game /play + the amount of CQs you have over all + how many trees you use and how often + your skill with every tree + The amount of awsome items you have = your lvl.

I'll use myself as an example, I have been in this game on my main char for 193 days, and awhile back I deleted and remade him, he had about 90 days on before, my cq count is about 14,400, and this is on Recursion, I have another lvl 50 on Recursion but let me just talk about Skull086 for now. I have every ability in the game, I am very skilled with every tree in this game in pvp and pve, I switch my loadout at least 3 times a day with stat hacks. I pvp in just resistance clothing, and most of the time, pwn people that are using heals/buffs. I've held almost every item in the game at least once, and I know how to use clothes to my advantage. Now because of all of this, not to mention I once had 127 zion rep and now I have 114 Machine, the amount of missions, time, money I have put into this game, I range my actual level at about 60-65.

Zion cannot have The Two, because I already am kthx.

Also, you can perma flag yourself with a macro on Recursion or syntax, flags you right out the hl once you use it. Though I am constantly flagged anyways so it doesn't really matter.

As for the comment about going to vector if you want pvp, Recursion and Syntax can sometimes be just as or even more hostile then Vector, I've seen em all flagged, standing around... But anyways That thur is my two cents.

Nah but seriously, more ideas for joo all to lol at. =P

1. Make a random npc spawn on players all over the city, even in richland, this npc is called the Candy Man, and he is lvl 55, killing the candy man will send out a shock wave, anyone that gets hit by this shock wave will receive 20 lolly pops. 500 lolly pops can be traded in for a Rainbow colored Trench coat, lvl scalling resistance to all 4.

2. Make a npc spawner in each of the Dojos around international, the spawner will reguire 500 info and training sims will come out, one at a time, just like the toy boxes, and as you kill them there is a good chance of getting a rare gun drop.

3. Make Agents Spawn on Zion in Richland.

4. If a Zion operative leaves Richland they should instantly flag. Due to the war times, these operatives are agenst the system and should be delt with by operatives aswell as agents.

5. Make Charactor customization alittle more awsome, give players the ability, to even before taking the red pill, they can choose to be a program or human, start off with the machines, and you start of with a cheap knock off of the agent suit and clothes, if you want to be merv, you can choose to be able to gain abilities like the vampire bite, or the lupine abilities, they would be in the awakened area, under exile abilities. And you would start out with the blood on your charactors lips or the lupine skin color with hair and simular clothing.

6. Make a /meatwadd emote kthx... Or change the animation when you suicide to meatwadding.

7.Make 4 new boxes for the PB missions, the last box would have The Box Maker(lvl 100) beating all the boxes would give the player four new awsome items, box 5 would give players that complete and collect all the right items a Golden Shirt, Really good buffs to Mkt, the 6th box would give players a pair of golden pants that help with Guns, box 7 would give players that use MA, item would be a golden coat and the last item, will Give Defense, accuracy, resistance and Damage to all trees, aswell as 10 IS and Health Regain Golden Patchers Headgear.

8. Give Proxy makers more control over the simulacrum, Name Change, Loads(Whatever you can load, your sim should be able to load, except for sim maker of course lol) Give interlock controls to the proxy master, with any abilities the sim has and tactics and such. Also The ability to change your sim to look like it's from your org, like an agent or exile, or some random looking person for zion..

9.More inventory space, email gets old fast.

10. Revamp the market place, add searching features by name.

11. Add a search function to coder library, and fix it so the clothes that have no buffs are scalled to their lvl pls.

12. Add a really difficult org mission to the game so people that have lost or never got the chance to get it can now, Merv Bloom, Piece of the Source and Zion Req.

13. Fix all the loot buggs, Tengu never drops bandanas, I hardly ever see the new guns being dropped, and wasn't the point of them to give them to the players?(not the npcs...)

14. Take everything except resistances, Accuracy, Defense, Damage off of clothes.

15. Add more White Hallways content, they are hardly ever used because you devs do one or two things to them and then completely leave them to die. New content is fine, but work with what you have first and expand on it. I suggest making a 100million info key for unlimited access to a construct of choice through the white hallways.

16. Add more Luggables to the city, inculding an Assassins Mask kthx. This will have people fighting over it like crazy, and it will really make for awsome pvp, fighting for an assassins mask. Hah! What will I think of next?!

17. Add a rare item to those select players that receive max Reputation in their org, make this item so it can only be used if the player has max rep, Machines should get a White Agent Suit Like the Architect, Mervs should get the Twins outfit, and zion should get Neo and Niobe's outfits.

18. Create more challenging Events, more Dev involvement would be nice, just random fights based on the story are alittle less challenging, I suggest making the dev charactors less powerful and more killable kthx. (No mo sploits devs. kthx.

19. Create another really awsome threat to the matrix, I agree the whole at war with zion thing is fine, but zion is boring and is only a minimal threat. We need something stronger to fight and more killable.

20. Add more variations of clothing, in different colors and such, for more customization.

That thur are my ideas, hope ja enjoyed em.

Some of them were legit ideas, like the one about the white halls connectiong to constructs... But... yeah the Zion getting attacked in richland and then being on infinite PvP... **** no XD.

Far as I'm concerned Zion is a threat to the system, and should be attacked everywhere in the simulation, why should they be imune to attack in richland? Why?! Why does zion get to freely walk around richland when they aren't even supposed to be in the simulation, according to the machines, zion is a threat, in the missions we kill zion now so why aren't Agents chasing them around richland aswell? Why do they get to sit at mara and talk like they own shizzle?

As for outside of Richland, those areas should flag zion operatives so incase the agents cannot get them, we operatives can, and I personally would love to hunt some foolish little zions down and tell em they are not authorized in the area, and pop em one in the head. Brings more to the actual story and idc about the complaining that they would all do, you think Morpheus or Trinity would sit around mara talkin like they own the place? NOPE! They were runnin for their lives from Agents and so should the operatives now, Kill em all kthxbai.

I want a big stovepipe hat like Abe Lincoln that lets me meatwad people and change the color of the sky like Sati.  I can even upload my own images and textures into the sky, like my own pics, or pron.    I want my own garden to raise tomatoes.   I want unicorns and light sabers and big mecha suits and Hamburglar.  Please get on that and have it ready for me no later than Update 63.  Kthx!

Oh and also.  I want cheats; especially /godmode, /invisibility, and /noclip.

I want the Real to be fully accessible.  With my own Hovercraft, and a fully developed tunnel system, a complete Old Zion, New Zion, and the Machine City.  Also I want to be able to visit the outpost from Matriculated, and say hi to the poor stranded robot guy who's probably still there.

I want to be able to rescue (or kill) Neo in Machine City.  I want to be able to fight and kill Deus Ex Machina.  And have /godmode in the Real too if I don't feel like doing the actual work for it.

Okay?  Chop chop, quit slacking, let's go!

ok here are some things that will make mxo little more different.

1.Let the game be more matrix like. You know running on walls and jumping outta windows and in free attack press the space bar and use the arrow keys to dodge.

2.When you ingage in combat each person has to make a combo with you arrow keys and to knock them down you need to hold the final arrow key in your combo bar. When they do a combo you can block their attacks or dodge them.

3.You should be able to jump in the air and when your opponent is on the ground you can kick them or punch them. when you both are in the air you have 10 seconds to make a good combo before you go on the ground and that would just be a waste not to make a combo with the arrow keys in time.

4.When you dodge bullets, sometimes if you jump in the air you can shoot them. and if you're about to die and they aren't you can shoot them before you die. And also please let us be able to hyperJump in buildings.

If you reach 50, you're always flagged for PvP? Effectivly making the server hostile for all level 50s?

For additional levels, the memory cap being drastically altered would make certain loads possible that really just shouldn't exist. Could we perhaps get one memory point per 5 levels in theory and maybe an additional maximum of 1 point of resistance per level?

If Zion is such a minimal threat, why force flag and force spawn Agents on us?
