Something new we're trying out! Hope you enjoy it.

Yay, organized!

Updates:

7/13 - Over a week late, but the 10.3.2 summaries are uploading now, sans pictures, but when I have the time I will go through and find some to plop in there. I haven't even gotten to the 3rd week's set yet. I just don't have the interest in MxO to go in and do them when I have better things to do, especially with my freshman year of college starting in just a little over a month. I'm going to get really busy really quickly, but I do have the ability to force myself to do these, so never fear!

7/14 - Haha, look at me go! Got all three 3rd week summaries up AND pictures for 3rd AND 2nd week crits. I rock. That's right. Feel free to applaud.

7/23 - I have no (valid) excuse for not doing the Zion mission summary until just now. At least I got it up before the new one comes out. I'm.. bleeding out of several wounds in my body (including a gash in my leg and multiple blisters on my paws) thanks to work-related b***s*** that puts the loveable little squirrel up in the manual labor section with the bears. I'M NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT. RL rant over, use that as an excuse. Oh, and Cloudwol(f) put up a central hub where you can just, Iunno, Favorite or add as a tab to view all the missions collectively, like this thread, except prettier.

7/27 - The Merv and Mach missions have been really interesting and (to me) well written. I'm actually looking forward to the next Chapter!

Great job with the recap man much appreciated.

Oh, good. I can stop doing them, then. SMILEY

Lazy. =p

Just kidding.

Okay, sorry for the late update on the Zion/Machine summaries, work, RL injuries, TF2 + FFTA2 distractions.. gonna add Bad Company to that list soon.. okay, but this week I should have them all ready within two hours of the server actually coming online. *evil grin*

Stupid college! Doin' the third set now, summaries to come sometime within the next three days, I promise, along with pictures for last week's set AND this week's. Fun fun.

Oh, and minor additional note, the summaries now have their own pages instead of being news items (which is what I wanted to begin with, so yay)! Enjoy, whenever they go up. If you're clever you could probably find the proper URL and sit on F5 until they load.

"No, of course you can take both 50' TVs, they're not that heavy...take that couch futon thing, too."

I've gotta quit my job... Oh, updated! :D

All critical missions are up! I implore you to read the Merovingian 10.3.5 one, as that will put a "wow" on your lips!

I need a break... oh, goody, free week off! *packs suitcase* To da beach! See ya in two weeks!

Don't worry, the next update isn't supposed to go through till tomorrow, so you got today to run at least some of them.

No, not really. I forgot to mention (I swear I thought I did, though) that my schedule only allows me play time on Fridays. Stupid college won't even grant me Xfire, grr.

Side note: Not all my forum priveleges have been restored yet, for some odd reason (OI, Virrago! Can I has get some helps here please?), so I can't even use the PM system or sig/avatar stuff yet. Mrawp. Hoping it's just a slight delay, but I might as well bring it to V's attention (if he reads this thread) as a precaution.

I'm surprised they grant you MxO. That's more than I got. *Grumbles.*
#36300500363 09/18/2008 11:38:17 Re:Storyline Critical Mission Summaries
Uh, they don't. On Fridays I go off campus to my parents for "visiting" (a.k.a. using their internet and washing machines) because I don't have any (interesting) classes that day.

Though.. my timing's still a bit off this weekend. I've been roped into going with some friends to some hentai festival or whatever they call it. =[p I'll make up for it next Friday!

Little update:

I'm such a lazy arsehat. Okay, for one thing, I let TF2 take over my gaming session instead of doing the crits. But now that I've settled into a more stable TF2 session at college, I don't need to spend it all on the one night I can actually play MxO.

Second thing: The laptop that I'm having to resort to playing MxO on uses Vista (WHY ARE THE ICONS SO BIG?!), so all the screenshots I took of Zion 1 and Merv 1 and 2 of the latest subchapter were completely f***ed! I'm gonna ask here for a volunteer to provide me with the text that the Mission Controller and any Computers gave in those three missions. I'm lookin' through the Tech boards now to fix this issue (if it can be so fixed) so hopefully that won't be a problem.

I'll be putting all my effort into getting the other five or so missions that will be available after tomorrow done this Friday (the aforementioned one day I can play MxO) so for those of you that were expecting something out of me, I haven't quite failed you yet! (Come back in a month naysayers, I'm sure I'll have f***ed something else up by then).

Yeah, Vista kills screenshots. You need to run windowed then use print screen and paint (or the awesome freeware paint.net) to export any screen captures.

Actually I just turned off AA and Water reflections and it seemed to work out all right.

Hmm... should I sum up the missions now, or since it's been so long, scrap the whole thing? Meh, I've already botched up one of the first missions, but what the hell, I have time today.

Ah, water reflections you say? I'll give it a try sometime.

If you really want a quick freeware tool for screen captures, try Printkey(printkey2000 is the latest I know about)

it allows you to grab screenshots and save to one of several image types without having to cut and paste, it even allows you to grab userdefined rectangular sections of your desktop as well.

I use it quite abit for both work and personal screen captures.
