I hate deers. >.<

So last night I was out driving, and it was at 2:45am in the morning.  Now this is the time of day where you have to be careful about deers, especially when you're driving through wooded areas.  Anyways, I was driving down the road, and I was driving through a wooded area, and BAM, my car got broadsided by a deer. 

I pulled into a church parking lot, and looked at the damage.  I looked for blood and guts.  Also, me being the paranoid person that I can be sometimes, I drove back and forth in the area a few times, to make sure I didn't hit a person.  The reason is that well...heh...I really shouldn't been driving, I was recovering from a Summer flu.  Luckily I didn't see anybody so I concluded that it was a deer.  Pictures below!

So, since we're on the subject of stupid animals and cars, what is the worse damage an animal did to your car?  Did you hit a deer, or maybe it was a porcupine?  Tell us about your encounters of the wildlife when you were driving along on the road.

When i was younger we were driving out to Lake Tahoe (Nevada) to go camping and my dad hit a deer.  It was a huge buck apparently, the way we hit him he rolled over our car caving in the front hood (smashing some vitals in the engine) and roof and shattering both front and rear windshields.  All that...and the buck simply trotted off after landing on his feet....-_-

I ...hit a skunk once, on the way home phrom work.  He was HUGE!  No permanent damage, but the 'effects' lasted abut two weeks. o.O  The 'reason' I hit him, was because this guy in a pickup truck was tail-gating me, so I was watching my rear view mirror more than the road in phront of me.  When I hit the skunk, the phront tires missed, but one of the back tires got him good, and then .........phlung the mangled body up and splattered on the wind shield of that pickup.   (ick)

But I bet he doesn't tail-gate people anymore. ^_^

I wonder if he thinks you hit a switch and launched the skunk at his car to get him to back off =O

Me and my husband was driving down the road, and I was in hte passenger seat, cuz well... he didnt have his lisences and I shouldnt of been letting him drive, but we see these lil thingies run across the road n then no more went so we went on, then we look and this hugeass momma started to run, and it hit RIGHT on the windshield where I was. Didnt kill it, it turned around, but right when it turned around, her head hit the windshield, cracked it, broke off the mirror, and we had to use a crowbar to pop the door back to where we could open it.

Needless to say, a few days later, we got deer whistles...

I hit a guy once while my car was parked. True story. He called the cops and said I hit him with my vehicle.

I have a VERY nice car, A McLaren SLR, which I almost never use... But anywho, one day I was driving home form work and this frigging Elk jumps in front of the car. Lucky me the SLR can go from 60 to 0 in 2.6 seconds... So I just barely stopped in front of it...
