There are many things that define one's self.  For Tor Salvatore, he had reached one of those points, however before we carry on, perhaps we should rehash the history that is Tor Salvatore.  Awakened almost immediately after the Truce was proclaimed, he grew fast in neurokinetic level as well as his body grew in the real.  While learning of such, he heard of the stories of Neo.  He grew to admire the man, and decided to help create the XeroDefect.  This faction was dedicated to following His words and maintaining His will.  Mr. Salvatore had chosen the name of "Thesaviour", in honor of his Hero.  He grew to become close allies with Morpheus and Niobe.  While Morpheus was a hunted man, he would fight alongside Morpheus, and would eventually be called upon to be a Eulogist for Morpheus at his funeral.  Shortly thereafter, many of the XeroDefect fleet were hunted down and relentlessly killed.  This was no exception for the flagship, the Hovercraft Kamose, as it was hunted down and destroyed.

Many died or were re-assimilated into the Machines.  where fate would have Tor Salvatore live.  He had ripped out the pod that a recent recruit was extracted from, and was expirimenting in self-sustaining broadcast.  Thankfully he had crashed at broadcast depth and the test was successful, though he saw all of his crew die in front of his face during an operation.  He was alone, and still being hunted after, due to the pods inability to register heat readings to their optical scans.  Thus Tor Salvatore devised a plan of hiding, where he put his memories into a potential, whose name is Andrew Daeson, to carry out his will, to which he does to this day, while Tor Salvatore hid.

Hid Mr. Salvatore did, and very remarkably well considering his thunderous personality.  He blended in, became a part of the bluepill operation, and took up his old job at the Duality club.  He began to get his old life, back, not with his relatives, and one could say that for a zionist, he was geting oddly comfortable with his present state.   That is until one day he apprehended a person looking to cause trouble.  He went beyond the limits of the matrix to apprehend the mischief maker, and thus they, the system, became aware of Tor Salvatore once more.  How would he get out?  Would he be safe?

"Six hours ago, I was ready to give my life for you.  Do you know what's changed in the past six hours?"
"No."
"Nothing."

As he was running missions for Tyndall one day, he got a call from Jez, saying she had someone to that he had to meet.  He had to go down to the bar in Uriah Industrial to meet this person.  The whole time, he was thinking it was another acquaintance of some sort or another.   As he entered the door, he saw her.  She had a figure that stood out amongst the rest, her pink hair bunched into a ponytail.  He walked in, and there was no seat to sit in, as he felt the awkward tension between the two.  'This is Titania, who says she is my sister.', Jez said.  He could tell from just looking at the two that Titania was telling the truth.  Jez didn't want to believe it, she wanted to leave her past in the depths....but Thor cared too much to let Titania be abandoned....so he tried to cool everything down.  It was at that moment he coined his nickname for her...."Titan"....It was then, by chance of a shortened name, that he may have caught a glimpse of destiny....He tried to get the two on familiar ground, but it was not easy.   After a few months Titan would join Jez and him when they would spend time together....and when he saw her alone....he felt such sadness that would tear through the inside of him straight through his heart, this was when he began to realize who his true love was meant to be.   How he would explain it to Jez, he did not know....it was one day, after the Vixens' Sexy Party 2, which he had missed, that he saw her sitting alone....he hinted at the feelings he felt for her, and she saw it.  That next day, Jez called Thor up, asking why she was so happy, and he didn't dare say why....he decided to be a man though and tell her next time he saw her....before he could even proclaim the love he felt for Titan to Jez, she had told him that she had fallen in love with Dtb, this was a load off his shoulders, and it made it even easier when Titan had told Thor that she had told Jez of the love she felt for him to Jez.   He saw the love, the purity of it, right then and there, less than an hour later, we come to where the story began....this was his defining moment....he felt the committment that he was going to make for her, he knew he was going to proclaim it sooner or later, and the question was, would he show the feelings he held within him for her, putting his committment to her first....or would he rather let it wait....No, he couldn't let it wait.   So he proposed to her right then and there.  He had a road, now to travel it....

Things went were like a dream to Thor, most generally, he was once again a captain, found the love of his life, and had a relatively good fleet to support him.  There were the low times, and we will overlook that as it is not Thor's wish to relive those days.  Taran, Thor's seemingly psychopathic brother, would put that perspective upon him to the test.  He had watched his brother do these good things to the fellow sentient beings of the worlds, and he wanted to be just like his big brother.  One day, an opportunity came for him to show his devotion to that.  There was an expedition to the unknown colony scheduled, the probablility of death was high and Taran's thought was if he died, then he had repaid his debt to through the betterment of mankind, if he survived, then it would give him time to show the world a new Raiden Salvatore.  He told Thor this, and while he begrudgingly allowed it, Taran, the day he was scheduled to leave, told his captor he regretted his actions and hope he could only be a tenth of the man that his brother was.  with that, those were the last words known of Raiden Salvatore before he left for the colony.  meanwhile, thor began to feel a rift come between him and the fleet.  One day it broke.  Thor felt hurt inside, and wouldn't show it through his emotions to anyone but Titan.  Then one day, instead of being miserable over it, he made a new fleet, called the Pax Arbitratus Amor.  While his brethren he may not agree with, in essence they fight for the same reasons.
