But, I have to agree with ry4n. No matter how good you are at fighting you can't stop a Faction that is rolling with high numbers. That is unless you also are bringing the Pain. From there, it is a matter of who is the best at what they do. There are some good PvPer's and it would be hard to point and say "This Faction is the BEST!" Unless we all wanted to gather and Grind it out some day, and have some sort of competition to see who is the best. It would have to have a reoccurring date since the tides can and most likely will turn to revile the top of this so called Mount that i guess ML in on top.

Eps, I know from personal experience that your sniping is just fine... you got me good the other night!

As for the king of the hill discussion, a full Team of ML can meet and usually exceed a full team of any other faction currently able to field a full team... no boast, it has simply been that way for a while now. We've all had experience with real pvp, as well as various Team pvp events and such where we have demonstrated that.

What is also been proven is a FULL team of SCs can roll over anyone. The problem is that Eps and Bay - being the main ones left - can't organize a bunch of weak Machines from other factions... the talent simply isn't there any longer. I feel for you guys!

I'd really like to see someone rez Kryt and SKOAL, Darksable, etc... Maggy can you get them back from WoW?

I feel that RR is on its way though... now that the numbers and activity has increased, and knowing the existing and nascent talent there, they are going to be a big player in pvp for the first time in more than a year.

But really... isn't this freakin' great we have pvp to talk about? I can't wait to fly back from this business trip so I can log on and pwn you n00bs ;P

pvp's been good lately. not sure what all the hub bub is over whos org/faction is better. for me it seems to bounce pretty much between whos got the numbers like usual. I have yet to see a faction/org with a full team dominate another faction/org with a full team no matter whos on it. Maybe a few players here and there with the skill to tip the favor to thier side. but not usually.

Great little PvP Session at mara a few mins ago Between Merv and Zion, GG guys was good fun

Tonyjaa, ILLFACE, Hunkvsmartin, NightHawk7000 and a few others

and in our team we had, Devil, Thebruceter, Darkhaze, me, sulpha and xmavinx

i dont know about you guys but it seems to me that ever since this thread was started we've been having alot more pvp. i wonder if because someobodys always posting its making the people who dont log in as much think they are missing something..so they log in more often..wich means more people to fight with..and more post's. this is a good thread. lets keep it up.

had fun fighting the small wave of zion's and machines today. even as short lived as it was right before all the mervs logged for dinner, lol.

Edit: Oh yeah, the PvP. It was ok. Would've been better if more Merv's/Zionists had emerged, and been in a position to counter the machine heals with some of their own. More balance would have made for more entertaining PvP. I was impressed with those who kept coming back for more, however. More of that required from the resident air brigade.

Probably should've started joining teams before I'd been playing for three years.

The Mach/CYPH showing lately hasn't disappointed, and that giant melee with ML and a few scattered Zionists a day or two ago was definitely good fun. I tend to agree with Mad, though - I'd rather be on the minority side in PVP. We kind of scrapped with ML for a bit before they organized with the other random Zionists floating around, then I bailed for dinner. I know the rest of the SC team was Euro, which, yeah . . it was pretty late for them so they took off.

On that note, seeing RR tear people apart always makes me happy.

i very rarely kill lowbies. even at mara c unless they are helping the reds with heals or somethin. if i added up all my alts id have about 20k. im proud of what ive accomplished though. no sploits, most of them actually my kills and not just kills from a zerg, and non of them beta cq's that dont mean anything.
