Killing all the movie characters... :(

Hey guys. I've noticed in the past 2 years or so that SOE continues to kill off the movie characters. (And so did monolith). I was sorta outraged when I heard the Oracle is dead.

So, I'll ask the Devs directly. Why are you guys killing off the movie characters? Is it because you ran out of storyline for them? If so, why kill them? Why not leave them be and just let them vanish for a while.

Does anyone know what killed the Oracle? It's a shame...First Morpheus, then Commander Lock, now the Oracle? What next? The Architect?

Technically Morpheus was the doing of Monolith, and rumor has it that Lock is still alive. But that leaves the Oracle. Why kill that woman? Wasn't she "the mother of the Matrix"?
