Hey, total noob. =p I haven't made my character yet, but I read everything I could in all these guides. I was wondering, is there any real difference between Syntax and Recursion? I read in Vector once you hit level 15 or 16 or something, you are all ways flagged for pvp. That sounds like no fun.

I guess I'd probably try and rp more then anything. Thanks for the help in advance!

I constantly hear about people from both Vector and Recursion moving to Syntax. Personally, being a Syntax native, I could not see myself being anywhere else but Vector (which you already ruled out). Syntax seems to always have PvP occurring, which is good. However, lately it seems as if Machine/Cypherite operations within Mara Central (the "main" hardline for PvP) has been increasing.

As for RP on Syntax, there are a lot of... "nubz," so to say. A lot of people who will sit at Tabor West only running their mouths. Once you RP with them, and RP them into a corner they just ignore you and call you names. I am sure this is the same on Recursion, but I know on Vector you do not have your enemy's compliance in order to destroy them (foolish concept (the compliance), in terms of RP).

Overall, I find it very comfortable on Syntax. There are many nice people, many good duelists (not just the class), many good PvPers, and several good RPers. I definitely recommend Syntax, at least just a trial period.

Syntax has some great people on it, RP and otherwise. Sure, we have our share of morons, too... but that's what /ignore is for.

. No, but seriously, If I were to chose one of the two other servers, i would have to say Syntax is the best bet. A lot of good people there. A good chunk of which do more for the MxO community that is ever asked of them. There's also A good lot of vectorites there too SMILEY
