What about sharpshooter being a small temporary accuracy buff for gunmen, and maybe change Multi-fighting's name to something more appropriate and have the same small temporary accuracy buff but for MAs. Or, have Multi-fighting like temporarily buff an MA's defenses for a very brief time.

Those are good ideas, but what constitutes as brief time?

If I had to guess/throw a general figure I would say probably no more than 30 seconds, seeing as a good MA can finish a duel in that amount of time with and without an accuracy buff.

Honestly, I'd love to have sharpshooter do almost what it used to. That is, to decrease the damage/accuracy done in interlock by guns, unless you have Sharpshooter loaded which negates the effect.

If they were to go the accuracy route for this ab, then I would be stuck between the temp acc buff, or something similar to steady aim but with much less of a bonus.

or they could Jack up the memory cost to about 3 and make it a really nice acc buff, with a half-life of about 15 seconds only though.

That's also an idea, I never thought about increasing the memory requirement.

Indeed, and they'd have to do the same for Multi-Fighting if they make it the way we described. I'm guessing it would have a cost of 2 or 3... SMILEY

2 or 3 depending on how many points the buff would give I guess, since it is so low on the operative tree it shouldn't be too much memory, too high of a buff, or too costly to activate.

Sharpshooter already has a purpose and works, why change it?

Multifighting should also be some sort of passive buff. Seeming Sharpshooter increases the effectiveness of ganking (More or less, cause it's only useful in a 2 v 1 situation) it should be there to reduce the power of the gank.

I don't load it with any of my gunman loadouts, a 2 v 1 situation is advantage enough. I'd rather spend that 1 memory on improving myself for 1 v 1's or to survive getting ganked myself.

Actually early in this thread 9mmfu said there's an Accuracy penalty for free firing at someone who is already in IL. THAT is the penalty that Sharpshooter removes.

In all my time I used to spend on Vector, I learned that it really does help to load Sharpshooter with Duelist. I just assumed since everyone is moaning about it not working that it actually didn't anymore.

EDIT: And if the penalty of which you speak still applies, then it would be best to load sharpshooter if you're playing backup duties.

Why not 20 seconds? Sever artery has an effect which lasts 30 seconds, I'd like to see gunners have a decent accuracy buff especially against MKT's insane accuracy...

Still, as Solid says, I'd like to see the figures behind the Sharpshooter ability

I fully agree about the whole sharpshooter thing, however, Sever Artery is rediculous in PvP, especially in DM and such, and any self-respecting hacker should know that. The Devs will not make the mistake of making a new Sever Artery, I can almost assure you.

I think it's just acc penalty. Damage in IL is calculated on the 4 second round basis if I am right.

So, on Sharpshooter, someone asked about whther there is a penalty on Free-Fire melee.. Did we ever get an answer on that?

And also, yeah, whoever asked "how much is the penalty?" Id like an answer to that too.
