Yeah, looks like the Vindicator, Femme Fatale and Fan Site operator ranks that are given to people saves them from the forum black hole. :p

I tried to post about the new Merv critical, but couldn't because I was a New Recruit. *shrug*

Tried checking my billing, but that was down as well... now it's back up and I can post.

So, I guess everything's back to normal.

I fail to understand how such a high profile company can possibley let such an intergral part of their business get into such a mess?  Is it really down to the fact that SOE is as tight as a dolphins butt?  I know Virrago has requested something be done but obviously noone is listening.

What is it going to take for SOE to get their act together and fix this *poop* out?

Do we have to complain, petition or boycott the forums?

Im fed up with this!

I know the feeling. Unfortunately, it's really always been like this since the transition from the old 'lith boards. It's kinda, unexplainable. It just seems to be ignorance or incompetence, probably both. >_>

At the same time, protesting/petitioning/complaining won't do anything. So it's probably best to save yourself any kind of trouble in the long run by trying any of the above SMILEY

Just wait 'til Proc gets on a rant about the web team. It's normally pretty spot on. SMILEY

There is a fix in progress. It may not look like much now, but I assure you that my insider sources are reliable.

Well the way i see it we are customers.. SOE is supposed to provide us with a service.  SOE are failing to provide that service.  Our rights as customers is to complain (and take action) until the service is up to scratch.

The forum is like any other product out there.  There should be quality standards set.  Clearly those standards are either too low or non existant.. most likely the latter. 

Although our subscription does not pay for the Forum as such our accounts are linked to it so we are in effect paying something towards this heap of crud.

Its clear there are custmores here unhappy with a product.. what will SOE do? Nothing?

Right poor customer service standards once again SOE Well done!

Virrago.. who  do we have to get in touch with about this mess????/

It appears there was a hiccup with the billing server. Since you have to have a valid active billing to post, the unfortunate side effect is that until the forums could verify billing, you couldn't post.

Actually, that is incorrect as it doesn't work that way, not everyone that had vindicator or femme fatale could post... just a couple of them... and those have now been corrected.

But I still see people who have inactive accounts posting back from when Special Ranks were given out willy-nilly.  Granted these are usually constructive posts though.

Please send me a PM on those so I can check it out because no one with an inactive account should be posting.
