Hello Operatives.
It has come to my attention that you could all probably do with a little something more to occupy your time. So, in one of my more creative moments I've devised a little competition for you. I call it, The King of the Mask tournament.
Here's how it will work.
There will be five qualifying tournaments. These will be for Martial Arts, Gunmen, Spy, Hacker and Coder loadouts respectivly. The winners of each of these tournaments will advance to a league where you will each battle one another once, using the loadout you qualified with. The operative with the most wins at this stage will be named our Champion and the King, or of course Queen, of the Mask. There may even be an additional material reward in it too.
Here are the rules:-
-Operatives may enter as many of the qualifying tournaments as they please. If a single operative wins multiple qualifying tournaments they will have a choice of which loadout to take into the finals. The runner-up of a tournament who's winner opts to utilise a different loadout will also advance to the finals.
-Qualifying rounds will consist of best of three dueling competitions.
-Final rounds will consist of best of five dueling competitions.
-Operatives will be allowed to wear any combination of clothing items they wish.
-Consumables such as health pills, antibiotics, tactic boosters and health boosters are not permitted although Mobius Code is.
-Loadouts may only contain abilities from their own trees and awakened.
-Competitors will be subject to restoration of their default settings before any match, whether though disconection and reconnection to the system or through death and revival within.
The tournament is of course only open to those of the Cypherite Organisation.
To register yourself for entry please reply leaving your name, neural-kinetic level, faction and which qualifying tournaments you wish to be registered for.
Dates and location for each round will be released in due time.
