Hi guys,

I've recently tried MKT; which takes a little getting used to and I find does great damage. So I decided to try MS, and I find that the damage is considerably less, so here are my questions:

1) Are the stats for MKT amd MS the same (Perception/Reason)?

2) If stats are the same, why do I do less dmg with MS?

The above is with same gear

This will depend on your actual loadout from various other trees and the buffs applied.

If you apply the MS buff, you have less Accuracy but does MORE damage than if you apply the MKT buff.

So if your finding that MKT does more damage, then it can only be due to the buffs you are applying. If you can, please list which ability you are using with which buffs. Are you comparing different abilites from each tree? Which mobs/players are you comparing the damage to?

MS as in Master Shadow?
Do you mean Master Assassin?

I'm loading all cept bulldog and disable security - due to a lack of attacks I also load neuro dart, detect weakness, and crippling throw from mkt tree.

Yep, when I say MS, MS=Master Shadow.

I've never tried Master Assassin; I don't know why I would get Master Assassin over MKT.

All I know is griefing is significantly reduced when predators/prowlers see MS's defending at DM (Data Mine).

Master Shadow is more of an 'Evading Combat' tree, most of the attacks are ones that require you to be in Sneak and will put you back in sneak after it has gone through.

The title buff isn't a buff, it is an ability so your losing accuracy and damage and such there, your best off going with MKT (for accuracy) or Master Assassin (for damage).  With the normal Punt/Staggering Throw/Suplex/Subduing Throw/Deadly Throw/Throat Cutting Throw combo with Disguise and you should be able to send testicles flying and fill them full of knifes before they realise they need to Reconstruct.  ^_^

omg - still laughing at the visualization of that.

Yep, I kinda noticed that MS is great on evade but disappointing on dmg. I really don't like the tree at all, however, the prowler I refer to, and I hate to admit, uses MS and does wicked damage; so maybe I need to mix MS and Assassin instead of MS/MKT.

Any suggestions on tree build?

Sounds like they went with a Master Assassin/Master Shadow mix and possibly got an Upgrade Master to give them a damage buff too.

Agreed.
