Ok so never been to Vegas.. prolly not driving out and doubt I can get a rental car. Hows public transportation out there as long as your willing to pay a few bucks?

The main area of Vegas (the strip) has a nice inexpensive monorail system, and it does connect to the Hilton, the hotel where we will be, so transportation shouldn't be a problem at all.  Just a taxi from the airport, then you're set.

  I've had dinner there... and it was a TRIP!   We went through the Star Trek 'Experience' TWICE too.   This was about 6 years ago, not long after it opened.  Had a blast.

I've decided I won't be going. After initially expressing keen interest in going after last year's Fan Faire, my faction have since pretty much bottled it (again), and as nice as it would be to meet other MxO players, the Glitch Society were the main factor for me.

And it turns out Fan Faire coincides with me having to buy a car and move out... so the £1000 a trip to Vegas would cost me are better spent on the latter. " />

Normally, the cut off date is a week before the first day of Fan Faire... I don't have the exact date yet though.
