QF: Croatia 1-1p Turkey

From almost 119 minutes of football, Croatia had scored a silver goal. The Croatian fans, players and staff thought it was over until Turkey scored an amazing equaliser in the dying seconds. Turkey not only took the game to penalties, but they won it! Turkey shocked Europe again! This time knocking out the Croats!

QF: Holland 1-3 Russia ET

Holland lacked the quality that had lit the tournament up in the group stages. Russia took a lead for most of the second half, but a late goal by Holland put the game to extra time. In extra time, with both teams tired, Russia scored two decisive goals. Holland was too tired to push back, and Russia had done it. They had knocked out the dutch!

Spain wins Italy by penaltys.

So Russia gonna play with Spain in 1/2 final.We gonna pay them a lot for that lose (4-1)

QF: Spain 0-0 Italy (Spain win 4-2 on penalties)

The game was tight and long, with neither team managing to break the deadlock. The two teams would undoubtably become the favourites to reach the final if they got through, and it would fall to a penalty shoot out. Spain's Iker Cassilas became a hero as he saved two penalties to win the match for the spaniads.

Quarter Final Review

Quarter Finals

Portugal 2-3 Germany... 19th June 19:45
Croatia 1-1p Turkey... 20th June 19:45
Holland 1-3 Russia... 21st June 19:45
Spain p0-0 Italy... 22nd June 19:45

Germany would be the ones that would go into the first Quarter Final as the rare underdogs, and ultimately put the doubters aside within 15 minutes of play. So soon that it was 2-0 to Germany, but the proceedings didn't stop there! Portugal began to fight back, and made it 2-1, but Germany got a third, and even though Portugal did score again, it was one goal too much, as Germany won the match 3-2.
Croatia and Turkey was a surprise Quarter Final match up, and the game proved to be exciting. Neither team could score until the dying seconds of extra time when Croatia got a vital goal. Croatia thought they had won, when amazingly Turkey also scored, and even went on to win on penalties. Incredibly, Croatia was out! This means that Germany will face Turkey in the Semi Finals, and like Croatia, will be favourites to win. However, it wouldn't be the first time this tournament that we saw Turkey upset Europe.
Holland would go crashing out in another shock result. Russia played exceptional, to slay the Dutch favourites, who be extra time, when the two Russia goals came, looked tired and defeated. The Russians were through, and yet again it was another incredible match.
Spain would join them, but it was a long night as they struggled to score against the Italians. It was a long late, and two wonderful saves by Cassilas would put the spaniads through on penalties. Russia will now face Spain in the Semi Finals. Spain won 4-1 last time these two met in the group stages, but Russia have found form, and confidence, and could shock Spain.

'tis funny, I said to my dad the other day that I could see turkey taking the lead and losing (after all their epic comebacks).

Spain will win tommorow, I think. Though I'm torn between the two teams.

SF: Germany 3-2 Turkey

Another epic game for Turkey was one step too far. Having made it 2-2 in the 80th minute in what was a great match, Germany, thanks to Lahm, got a late 89th minute goal to knock out the come back kings. Germany was in the final.
