This may seem a strange request but i feel we have quite a close community in MxO but i don't really know who works behind the scenes i know the names Rarebit and 9mmfu but that's about it i dont know what they do other then Rare seems to be the main man. I have played for about 1 and 1/2 years and i guess i keep my head down and keep to myself a bit so maybe that's a reason as to why i have no contact with the staff of the game.

I would like to know who works where and does what, im not looking to gain anything from this apart from knowing the community behind the game.

Not sure how accurate this is but:

Rarebit: Does the visual side of things mainly, like clothing and making new constructs and such like.  Also does the missions and trades and buffs on clothing.

9mmfu: Does the QA stuff, testing and of mainly combat but I am sure he does other things here too.

Dracomet: Programmer, he can get things to work in a different way as intended, i.e the Data Mine spawns were from his mastermind SMILEY  I think the ingame email system was also made by him.

I am sure that they also dip their toes into other parts of the game considering there are only 3 of them but I think this looks as though this is their main parts of their jobs.

Darkhawk's Gallery | Section 9's Past | Metal Gear?! It's already active?!
There can only be room for one Snake, and one Big Boss!

Virrago doesn't work on the game itself, neither do the CSRs, they are just here for customer Relations/Support respectively.  They also work on multiple games, not just MxO.

So really we just have Rarebit?! so this game is very understaffed!

Pretty much. I also heard that both Dracomet and 9mmfu are traded around to other SOE games from time to time.

So our only real FULLTIME MxO Dev is Rarebit.

I'm pretty sure 9mmfu and Dracomet have both refuted those claims and said that they are full-time developers for MxO.

Rarebit locks them away anyways so that they can't leave the building SMILEY

I'm pretty sure Dracomet also programmed the items of Datamining, i.e. the overdrive and quicksilver stuff. So Rarebit's not the only one who does "clothing".

In fact we don't know the specifics of everyone's individual jobs. It's safe to say that Rarebit runs the story, and the three work as a team when it comes to programming and content.

Also Dracomet lives in a cage.

Thats Exactly what i mean, we know their handles and maybe hints to what they do but i think it would be nice to know who actually does what, who is full time on MxO and who else maybe pop's in from SOE to help out.

Urgh, not again. Please, someone tell me, where did you hear that?! I'm not saying you're lying, I just want to know where people got that idea. I want to see quotes from SOE staff members.

That is the idea i had that rather then people either guessing or assuming. Someone from SOe just tell us who does what, i don't want phone numbers or home addresses or anything i just want a name and what they do, nothing malicious behind it i'm just curious.

Customer Service and Community Relations are separate departments. Community Relations is considered part of the the Development Side of things.
