Tournament 4

Round One

ManatikLuniak 3-0 Bruinz
TheBruceter 0-3 RoganClark
Kontamination 0-3 Jord
KevinXSer 3-2 Kelstar

Manatic opened his season with an impressive win against Bruinz 3-0. Bruinz was also new to the league this round. Last weeks finalist Rogan set of with good form beating DE's Bruceter 3-0. Another 3-0 whitewash followed completing a hat trick of 3-0s. Jord also new this week beat Kontamination 3-0 to reach his first Quarter Final. The final match of the round wasn't as easy for the victor, Kevin, who struggled to a close 3-2 victory.

Quarter Finals

KevinXSer vs Paschendale
Woken 3-2 ManatikLuniak
ThePhantomPain 0-3 Brommerz
RoganClark 2-3 Jord

Paschen got yet another bye as his opponent crashed out of the tournament. Woken opened his season in an impressive match against Mana that could have gone either way. The result, a 3-2 narrow win for Woken. Brommerz, heavilly favoured defeated Pain 3-0, sending an impressive statement to the remaining fighters. The first shock of the tournament came as Rogan fell out to Jord narrowly 3-2. This weeks final would be a completely different sheet.

The Masters

Every season now the first major is a celebration of the Masters of the game. Throughout every server we have seen Martial Artists that have shone above others, not just one week, or even a few weeks, but over a long period of time.

The Vector league is still very young, but before I even began these tournaments there was always those that kept that reputation of being true masters, and this week we celebrate these masters, and the future masters.

How does one celebrate then? Well why not make the prize $i 100,000,000! True masters deserve rich rewards! What else would a Master deserve? Perhaps a VIP pass to every single tournament, a free entry to everything this season offers (Except Majors, because I need cash for the prize :p which equals 16/20 tournaments free).

Come watch, participate or just cheer on the fighters as this Saturday we host Vector's first major, celebrating the abilities of numerous Martial Artists that have achieved the respect, and will by the end of tonights major, be in that catagory of Masters!

Location: Rogers C Fight Club
Time: 14/06/08 11pm GMT
Entry: $i 5,000,000 or winners coupan
Prize: $i 100,000,000 and a VIP Pass for the Season.

I hope to see many Martial Artists here for Vector's first Major!

The Masters

Round One

Uzz 0-3 ThePhantomPain
Woken 3-2 DisBar
RoganClark 3-1 BigDallas
Paschendale 3-2 WarOmnimonki

Uzz was welcome to the FNT by Phantom who opened his tournament in very impressive style winning 3-0. Woken had a very tight match against DisBar, but won 3-2 to make a safe passage through. Rogan was one of the favourites and didn't dissappointed beating BigDallas 3-1 to progress. Paschendale and WarOmni had a tense duel that saw Paschen narrowly win 3-2.

Quarter Finals

Bayamos 3-0 KevinXSer
JetBlack 1-3 ThePhantomPain
Paschendale 3-2 Adapts
Woken 3-2 RoganClark

Bayamos opened his tournament straight away with a 3-0 win, how can any man stop him? JetBlack opened his season with a loss against Phantom, who looked better and better as he went to the Semis with a 3-1 victory. Paschendale won narrowly again coming back from 2-0 down to beat Adapts 3-2. Rogan was beaten again from 2-0 up this time against Woken. Both players showed no lack in quality both looking very impressive.

Semi Finals

Woken 3-1 Bayamos
ThePhantomPain 3-0 Paschendale

Woken did the unthinkable and ended a 12 win streak of Bayamos. The giant was down and Woken would be in a new position as the first man on vector to defeat Bayamos in the league. ThePhantomPain slipped through quietly mainly because he won so comfortably against Paschendale, impressing highly.

So the final would not have Bayamos, but still talent was there. Both competitors looked good heading into the final.

Final

Woken 3-1 ThePhantomPain

Woken won his first tournament in impressive fashion beating Phantom who looked unstoppable.

The tournament had a flock of viewers which in the first major saw the mighty Bayamos who ironically won the first Masters on Recursion a long time ago.

(There is no faction league, as I am reviewing it and changing, it will be up tommorow with the changes).

Had a shortage of numbers this week, with only 4 available, so I ran a round robin for the results.

Fixture One

Bayamos 3-1 ThePhantomPain
KevinXSer 1-3 RoganClark

Bayamos opened the tournament defeating Phantom in his first match 3-1. Rogan also followed suit defeating Kevin by the same scoreline.

Fixture Two

Bayamos 3-1 KevinXSer
ThePhantomPain 3-1 RoganClark

Bayamos continued his good form beating Kevin 3-1, the victory making him have a good chance of victory. Rogan lost against Phantom who got his first win winning 3-1.

Fixture Three

Bayamos 3-1 RoganClark
KevinXSer 3-1 ThePhantomPain

Bayamos sealed his tournament victory getting his third victory out of three when he beat Rogan 3-1. Kevin also got a win tying a three way second place.

The tournament finished with Bayamos becoming a 4-time champion! The tournament had gone well regardless of the loose numbers.

Surely a mature adult surrounded in derogative flame can notice that saying a very relaxed sentance and then putting ':p' and jk is not at all offensive.

But then again, some children miss the jokes and scream like children.

I doubt TH would have meant any harm tbh. He's a good guy with his head screwed firmly on his shoulders. I feel there is too much hyper sensitivity around the context of what people say in this game. I remember some one trying to get Hlew banned a while back for mentioning white coats (referring to taking someone away in an ambulance), but again people misconstruing the core of the reference made. Don't get me wrong if things are said in a severe and aggressive manner, then by all means a ban is an appropriate punishment, but, lets try to keep the banning to a minimum guys...The community is low enough as it is...

If these people are so 'sensitive' that they need to ccr someone in an adult game for adult speech...why dont they use the profanity filter??

Its because they exist JUST to ccr people..think its fun...
