Okay all you veterans out there! I...have...an idea!
We all remember the old Monolith huge live events and how entire servers were notified something was going on via on screen message I'm sure.
I know, I know. You're all thinking, 'forget it Praey. Too much work and the server will crash and Rarebit's only one guy'.
True. But listen!
Lets take Halborn's cinematic entrance into the story for example. He came through the door atop the monument, Agents shouted, 'You are not authorized in this area!'. Then he dropped em with a wave of his hand.
Turn this into a live event to begin the chapter! An on screen message is displayed to everyone (whether or not they can get there...meh-join Exemplar Triune and I'll see to it you can), everyone gets there (laggy I know-who frickin cares), Halborn suddenly comes through the door and the Agents show up and bark their message. Halborn waves his hand or even just points at them and bickety-BAM! They drop. Maybe Halborn says something or not, whatever. Either way everyone there poops their respective pants. Later the incident is reported and explained away in the Sentinel for those who may have missed it (as if this story wouldn't be on everyone's lips for those who may miss it anyway).
Obviously, this isn't doable for every possible coming chapter I am sure, thus not adding any huge workload. For the odd chapter where it is doable I think it would really be wonderful for everyone. I don't imagine the server would crash as subscribers would be showing up to basically see something go down, not fight and get zerged etc.
