Only it actually is breaking. It flashes red, then stops altogether before it's due to either hit or miss, as if never called upon in the first place.

This has been a bug since the start of cr 2.0 its a shame it still hasnt been fixed.

8 times out of 10 this *can* actually end up costing you a duel or a fight in PvP.

Most annoying bug ever ~_~

Usually using another Special that is on the same timer, like Pistol Barrage fixes it. However, rolling out always fixes it.

It's been a problem for so long that I just consider it one of the natural downsides of the class at this point.

It happens. Things break, then they get fixed. Just bring it to attention and soon it will be fixed.

This bug has been known about for quite some time now, and as shown, it is not fixed.

However the question is in the details. We did fix an issue in Update 57 where if a state wore off before your ability was executed that relied on it your abilities would break.

So in getting this fixed requires details like;

What ability, if any, did you or your opponent use prior to DPE?
What buffs/debuffs did your opponent have on?
What buffs/debuffs did you have on?
Did your opponent hit you with an ability in the previous round, If so which one?
Where you and/or you opponent only using 1 type of abilities (MA,Hacker,MKT,Guns), If so which ones?
Does it only occur against NPC or Players or both?

Being specific about the circumstances surrounding the problem helps us find the problem. Its an unfortunate reality that sometimes (hopefully rarely) that a problematic bug happens but can't quite be reproduced under "controlled" environment.
