Aww, almost beat you to it.
So, is that the Neurphyte lightning effect Rarebit mentioned ages ago?

Forget these pills and stuff!
Give us some STORY! Something that we as Matrix fans can relate to. Something that will answer that question that is in everyones head, "Why are we still here?".
Opps, wrong thread.
Nice pills.

looks like the bomb pet with the ball missing XD
Still cool though, IS regain boost is always welcome! ^.^
If I'm reading this right each player will be able to get more than one of these from each mission so long as they are working together with other people. That is, say a group of six people start the mission once each in order to get six per person. Unless of course the system is keeping track of which missions you've done and will only give it out once...
If the leader of your mission team calls up the latest critical mission, and you help your team complete that mission, you can't run that same critical mission on your own after you leave the team.Oh yeah. Heh, shows how many Crits I've run lately huh?

Yeah, I dound this out the hard way.
This is a nice starting point for this critical mission incentive. I'm cusious, too, about the tradablity and termination on death. My guess is non-tradable and gone on death.
I like the animated Image Retrieval. Is this the first animated one?
Looks like the toon in the pic has the decompile 12pt shirt on...
EDIT: Let's consider that if you do your own critical, you can still be on someone else's team to help them and get another. I smell a pyramid scheme...
Wait... does this reward work retroactively? Meaning all the people who haven't been keeping up on their crits will now be rewarded with tons of these IS boosters when the update hits after running all the past crits, whereas those of us of who have been running our crits in the intended timely manner will only have one consumable to last us for the week. Is that right? It's starting at the beginning of chapter 10.2 so people won't be able to run previous crits...
Unless... we run the latest crit for ourselves, and then start asking around for people who haven't yet run theirs, and then join their team... rinse, repeat?

Highlighted part is interesting... unless it's gonna be a singleton too...

Nah. If you don't do your crits, you lose the opportunity when a new chapter hits.
Heh that's what I was thinking.Oh, joy.
Pure, unadulterated joy.

More drugs......cool.
I hate to rain on the parade but in my opinion this is a pointless addition, i appreciate the work gone into this and thanks for new content but i don't see the point and the time crating this could have been spent on something much more important.
I disagree. Crits are a very important element of MxO.
I welcome this, it's incentive to actually follow the story, which a lot of folks (myself included) have pretty much brushed aside over the past couple of years.
It's only due to running archive missions that I've been able to catch up properly, and I can't believe how much of the story I've missed!

A few tests and it's done. It's probably a tad more complex then that but the time spent on it is probably negligible compared to any important stuff they're working on.
I think it's pretty kewl... not great, but nice, anyone would be happy to have a way to get more IS... and a GOOD incentive to keep up on your crits, which everyone should be doing. I also am curious to phind out if they are tradable or not.
I think you people should appreciate what you get.I hate that kind of attitude, no offence. I'm British, its my national right to complain about anything and everything.

I think you people should appreciate what you get. It's something, and it's a nice something.Well sorry but i just think its a waste of time that could have been spent on something else.
MattRobson, there is a lot of stuff in the patch. Seriously, no reason to complain.
I am going to wait till I see the Patch Notes next week but so far things are looking good for Update 60. Datamine may actually become a worth while construct on its own standing.
And I think the devs have knocked up enough pills for the creation of this to be a very quick creation time, and items have been given out at the end of missions before, just now Rarebit will have to add the pill as a reward to each crit and make sure he removes that reward when it is archived. I dont think a ground breaking amount of time has been spent on these pills.
Though some buffs need to change, the Quicksilver IS buff consumeable or this pill as one of them is going to be rendered useless and the last thing MxO is more useless content. (Not that the Quicksilver consumeable was widely used before now. Actually, looking at the Data Mine rewards aside from the Quicksilver Gloves and Overdrive Bandana, are pretty much unused, PSBs were used but now it is hard to find them as they can be destroyed and no one in their right mind would code one. But this is for another thread.)

no matter what anyone does you will never please 100% of people.
either you want to do the crits or you don't a pill that i can use once wouldn't personally make me want to go out of my way to do them.
Eh, I like the pill and the fact that you can get more rewards for doing the crits, but I don't like the animation.
