How different he is from the humans with whom we usually associate. While unable to cast off the questionable compulsion of an unpleasant world, he can be said to lack neither intelligence nor imagination. Has he some greater fantasy, upon whose extravagant subtility ours makes no more lasting impression than a schoolboy's daydream?

Good grief, what was that? You people clearly have no sense of perspective. Whether the rumours of a colony are true or not, Carlyne is way out of any of our leagues. The very idea of the Merv being able to offer him something to entice Carlyne to stay is preposterous.

Congratulations to Zeronos for being the only sensible voice in that room.

You're right. Next time the Merv asks us a simple request like, "Get him to join us.", we'll just tell him, "You know what, nah that's ok Mervy. He's totally outta our league." Last I checked, he said he'd leave the sim if Halborn was gone, and being Exiles, we offered him to be one. What's the hurt?

And I <3 Beirn's shades, is he the only one who has it or are there some out there for us to get?

Fine then. The Merv's the idiot and you lot are happily passing on his god-awful message. Better?

Carlyne, an Exile. Imagine! Yeah, why not leave his colony that's given him an amazing ship and goodness knows what other technology (not to mention stable relations with the Machines) so he can join a bunch of partying alcoholics and misfits in a virtual city he could already take over if he wanted.

Of course I shall wait until Carlyne has in fact left the simulation but I will say this now, If he does leave I will have misjudged him by a long distance. However, I still have a nagging feeling that Carlyne will outstay his welcome. As for joining the Merovingian, ha now that is preposterous... it's a less laughable idea if he had the Merovingian work for him.

I was done after I seen people actually begging him to join. Was totally corny. That's why you'll see me at the bar most of the time. Mad rarebit edited out my offer for sim snuffing in exchange for him joining lol.

Um, did Carlyne forget that he caught the Merovingian operatives helping Halborn? I was surprised to see him acting so friendly towards them.
