There was a Zion event yesterday, and I finally got a terminator bit. I've wanted one ever since I found out about it's existence, and now that I finally have it, I'm not sure when I should use it. I've heard that it will instantly kill any NPC up to level 100, but does it do anything at all to hostile players? If not, then when would be a good time to use this thing? Does anyone have some suggestions?
Also, has anyone ever tried using a terminator bit on a wasteland corruptor?

I know a faction member on Vector had one and Used it at a Zion event, it killed most of the npcs around us, But it didn't do a thing to Players.
Oh and as for using the terminator bit on a wasteland corruptor, I don't think many have been given out for people to try this but I could be wrong.

Hmm, you could save it and try it out on Smith if he comes back next year? heh thats a long time to wait for a gamble though.

DOES WORK ON: NPCs that are programs. Level 255 Agents have too much HP to be killed by just one, and a whole lot of HP regen (I think)
DOES NOT WORK ON: Players Live event characters Wasteland Corruptor Pandora's Box NPCs
I say save it for an event with a whole LOT of NPCs.

How do you know that it doesn't work on Wasteland Corruptors or Pandora's Box NPCs? Have you tried it, or did Rarebit say anything about that?

I happen to know for a fact that wasteland corruptors are immune to it, Pandora's box NPCs are immune to it, but everything else dies. Agents that are level 255 take 3,201 damage from one terminator bit. You can basically one shot anything up to level 100 with it, and it has a huge range on the blast.
Save it for a LE when it's needed.

So you're tried that? If not, then how can you be so sure?

I had the first terminator bit on Syntax. I saw at a LE someone dropped a box 4 next to a terminator. However, the terminator did not kill a single one of them.
The same thing happened a while later at another LE, only someone data mined and spawned a corruptor. The terminator killed the Corrupted, but not the corruptor.
At that LE yesterday, a level 255 agent spawned on someone in the park next to the 2nd terminator. It slowly died with each pulse, 3,201 damage per pulse. At the hardline, when the first terminator was there, every level 100 agent that spawned on Zionites/EPN died from each pulse.

Don't let the pill get stuck to your terminator leg.

Ok, thanks for the explanation. I don't suppose you were able to loot the level 255 agent, were you? If you did loot it, did it drop anything other than info?
Also, thanks to everyone in this thread who gave me info or suggestions. If I am ever surrounded by level 100 agents during another LE (which I'm pretty sure has happened before), they're all going to die!

Nope. It's body disappeared and two more took it's place.
