I think he meant it's been so long some of us don't remember how to get to the sentinel period. The fun is in finding the hidden messages. Good job ruining it for some.

1. It takes 20 seconds... max
2. once I found the first address, it's not exactly rocket science to even guess the rest, I mean come on now

Awesome! I really like the bluepill articles, the classifieds, and Aunt Elle. Really great stuff LESIG has put together - it gives me a distinct image of the way the sentinel was before Chadwick gave up on it. I also liked seeing an article on Hovercraft Battle tips - quite a good idea for the promotion of the battles. Oh, and whoever was responsible for the new Cypherite identification image - good stuff. Everything else keeps its classic cool.
Thumbs way up!

I meant mousing over every word for the first time in what, a year; to find a secret message.

Have to admit that was a little jarring to me too. I understand and applaud the good intention but i don't think the sentinel is quite the right place for it to be expressed.
I disagree. It's just some captain (affiliation unknown) giving tips on how to survive (and win) fights in the real. The information is conveyed in a rather in-character manner and it might work to draw a few more people to the battles.

Nah, the Sentinel isn't replacing cinematics. It's just being the Sentinel."

I enjoyed the new Sentinel. There was one thing that confused me though. The headline about the water said investigators found broken glass near the open edge of the city's reservoir. Is it referring to the city's aqueduct or the reservoir in Guiness Lake? I'm assuming this is related to the cheat codes Agents dumped into the water. Watching that particular cinematic though, it looks like the Agents are in either Bathary Row, Edgewater or Uriah when they do it.

It's Uriah, the criticals missions/events from back then confirm it.

I don't see the resemblance. Anome was supposed to be a fat guy, but that reporter guy's cheeks are so sunken he might as well be a skeleton or maybe the Crypt Keeper from those crappy old latenight horror shows

I agree with odj and cloudwolf. Since when is "actions left for the current turn" considered to be a valid, in-character comment? When's the last time you had a conversation that went: "Hey, I'll be right back - I have to go the bathroom" and someone replied "I'm sorry, no you can't, you've already used up all your actions for this turn. Please initiate going to the bathroom at the start of your next turn"?
"EMP's win ties"??!? Ummm, what the heck does that even mean? Since when is there ever a "tie" during ship-to-ship combat?! "Uh oh, we both fired our missiles at the exact same time!!! Quick! Rock, paper, scissors to see who's missile wins!!"
"a ship with one more Energy than the enemy ship"?!?! Something tells me the hovercrafts in the movies didn't have their own character sheets that kept track of such things
