Cyphs are cashing in their 'favours' thick and fast it seems.

Best. Mission. Ever.

I got to kill Cypherites! SMILEY Well, okay, the engagement protocols prevented me from doing so directly, but I took great pleasure in watching them drop like flies before the accelerated Exiles. And what was it I heard them cry as they fell to the floor?

'Where's Veil?'
'She left us to die!'

Looks like their little plan backfired, and Veil proved that her treachery knows no bounds. This is too good.

I really liked how the mission didn't "know" the outcome of the Lock battle - implying that it was actually possible to affect the outcome of it.  I would love to see more things like this in the future.

I was thinking that too, Rarebit probably had one or two possible outcomes prepared in advance depending on what happened. It may not have altered the story on a large scale but at least the flow could be changed. Agreed, some more of this type of thing would be really good as long as it doesn't overload Rarebit.

Halborn pwned me.

I was wondering a couple of days ago whether the battle would affect the story much. I know Lock is a big name, but I don't think his death, capture or survival would have made much difference ultimately. When he was left in Old Zion, Roland just took over. His name was mentioned, Colt got brought in for comic relief, but otherwise it really didn't impact the story.

Same this time round: Roland will get replaced by Lock. No big deal, more than likely.

Gray talked about the big fight over Lock and said that since then Halborn has been disrupting the Matrix to get the machines' attention! They send us to find out what he wants! He was mad about the Cypherites giving him a wrong location and wanted to see the Machines! Also there was a frightened bluepill here who was cheating on his taxes! :O

Gray set it up with Agent Pace and sent me too, but when I got there only Pace was here! Pace said she already told Halborn the truth, that they can't answer his question about Carlyne's ship, so there was no need for a meeting! :O

Halborn attacked a Cypherite base in anger, and the Machines sent me to investigate! There were some Cypherites here who demanded me to help them, and Agent Gray gave us the OK! So, they took us to another Cypherite place that was under attack! Two more Cypherites joined us in here to fight of all the programs... and Halborn was here too! Halborn was angry and challenged us to a fight and said we are all being manipulated by someone who knows exactly what the program he wants does! :O I did not want to fight Halborn so I ran away! SMILEY
