BOOKING DETAILS
Passes will go on sale later this Spring, but you can book your hotel stay now! The Las Vegas Hilton is currently accepting reservations at the discounted Fan Faire rate of just $139 per night (cheapest standard price for the cheapest single room is $145.95). Just call (800) 635-7711 and tell them you're with Sony Online Entertainment, booking code SSOE8. Space is limited - so get your room soon, in case they sell out!
oh hey Barry Manilow... I'm placing bets on who goes to that
Aaaaaaanyway, the normal rooms (save being a rich git and getting your own penthouse... somone needs to do that) can have 4 people in and the 3 nights cost $449.85 (that's $112.46 each). Who wants a roomie?
Ah quite. Forgot that part, you would think SOE could cut us MXO players a break after they took even more features from our game, if we payed to get out there the admission should be free
But in all seriousness, still not horrid on the price.
As a side point, look at all the red names on the forums suddenly! Am I actually breaking this news before you guys are finding out?! Surely not, that wouldn't be good...
JulieTheIntern is hot btw
And @ NT, yeah man, it's pretty cheap the price I'm getting there is off their website too, just go to http://www.lvhilton.com/and use the book thing in the top right of the page. We'd be getting there on August 14, it's 3 nights... do the math. It's actually $239.85 if you get the same room type by yourself so yeah totally worth bunking in with people
I'd say to not book just yet though, mainly as I've made poor Ashlanne have a stroke on the Station forums about figuring out that you could download the podcast before she's gone and announced it officially herself (or Brenlo for that matter).

Shhhhh!!! It isn't released for real yet.
PS I bet I could drink ya under the table... actually, no I don't, I'd have to see how you measure up on the first night

Its a shame I cant go.... but I want lots and lots of pictures!
You can count on that lol...if I remember my camera! But jeezz Vegas again..
From the sounds of the podcast, I think it certainly was going to be somewhere else but then a problem came up with the location. So I think that Vegas was picked as 1.It was popular last year 2.The staff knew the area and could plan it within the tighter timescale.
im coming all the way from the uk any one else from the uk going.
I can't put leave in at that point and I can't be bothered going through all of the repercussions of going AWOL, plus the running costs. Also, I've been in a desert already this year, don't fancy going to another one anytime soon.
Havocide is from he UK (unless he moved to the US)
