What?
I figure I could just run a macro now, any and all points to be made regarding it have been made.

This is mere used as RP/ player event tools everyone can use.Did someone say Requisition of Code Bombs/Pulses (shamelessplug

You're forgetting the stupid amount of money most people have. I, myself, have enough money to buy at least five of those, where a player event would likely necessitate two at the most. And, of course, there are plenty of people with stupid amounts of money and nothing to spend it on who are not at all interested in player events, but would love to just go around and mess a few up with that kind of offer. Not to mention, there could be some people trying to throw an event on a server they don't have a main character on, and thus could afford the cost. It's simply not an effective method of distribution, if there were to be one. That said, I still agree with the decision not to make this function fully public simply because of the amount of abuse it would see, and the lack of any real functioning way to implement a system which would put a halt on this abuse before it began.Oh, and I don't think missioning for/buying code bombs/pulses would work, either... Those things lag the server like no tomorrow (at least they did the last time I saw them, when fake Morpheus the third set off oh, say 5, which is about one tenth the damage your average MxO player could cause). You'd have to go through a requisition system to get one of those, and even then, you'd only get one. A mission or something would be neat, but it'd either have to cost a ridiculous amount of money (I'm talking more than the org key - possibly over five times as much) or there would have to be some sort of significant restriction placed upon it which currently does not exist within the MxO system. Maybe hand them out as consumable live event rewards here and there in the future somehow? That seems the only way to control them, though, honestly, there's not a live event character out there who'd be open to giving those out since they're all hippies. Maybe Mikey'd give out a few pulses, though.
well with such millions $i mission ticket, at least it also becomes a money sinker as well. So why should they waste their money for just such cool animation. Also i'm sure IF they used it as a way to Lag people oue we can just toggle the effects off.
You know, now that I think about it, they could be easily implemented as a non-consumable item with a 300 second cooldown after each use implemented as a chapter reward for doing something like 1.2 for all orgs (since that's a longass subchapter and the one based around code bombs). That'd be win in my eyes.Or... for completing chapters 1-10 for all orgs.

As cool as it would be to have such a tool, I see it being horribly abused and ruining lots of fun. Imagine the poor chaps loitering around who get spawns thrown on them out of the blue by someone looking for a quick joke.

:( Good times with Anome sims.
I'm a friend of mini-events, so the spawn-tool is very, very nice!
It would be great for player-events, but dangerous too. At the moment we have the possibility to let NPC spawn with Pandora-Boxes. Maybe it would be good to make them tradable.

Never mind.
Won't someone think of the poor data-miners?
Rarebit FTW!.
Stream Closed.
/bump.....Only two weeks until the update comes right?
How many of the idea's in this thread do you believe we could seen in update 60 Rarebit?
Rarebit isn't adding the Org Abils because it takes the ideological choice out of what org you want to join...Isn't that funny, cause if your "Idealogical Choice" leads you to join Zion you spend the entire game being punished for it while you watch the Mechs get cool FM-1500's for their choice.

Double Standards are awesome

But Machinists totally deserve it.
And so do Zionites.
I think that topic is for another time, another thread, when it is inevitably brought up again.
Oh, no, I just find it interesting when people take the trouble to twist my words around.
Organization in MXO is supposed to be an ideological choice. Offering different abilities to different organizations would make it a combat choiceNo words were twisted
Just left out, one of the things left out was people switching orgs would see their combat ability drop... and that isn't a bad thing, THATS a good thing *Diamond Dallas Page smile*Rarebit wrote:Rewards for loyalty? Yeah... I want to voice my opinion on the current topic, but we may as well just leave it. In short, Pylat's got it completely right.
Rare you prolly got a lot of stuff to think on, but can you check if the style ability bug in IL is gonna be fixed? To elaborate simply kung fu main style with aikido abs rolls more than aikido main style with aikido abs (not intended since u can see they got different acc bonuses).Guess not.
