Now that the Oracle is "dead" and we only have Morpheus as a Sim this is just another hit in the face to Zion. I mean, looking at Zion is there really much to fight for anymore?? The Zion Councel has been silent since the Truce was broken and the war started. Our organization is always 2 steps behind. The only major thing that really have happent for the Zion organizaion is we got New Zion and Rave pants. I have lost faith in Zion...the Organization and our so called leaders and I think it's about time something changes in the Zion organization. A big change in our leadership and our organzation must be started, or this so called fight for humanity is nothing more then a talk.

    The fact is, you have to remember PvP has no rules...

    Yup! 90% of the time you will be outnumbered or you'll be ganking 2-3 hostiles. in which case, the sheer numbers will most likely
    'win' the PvP session.

    But do remember PvP can never be 'won' as such. there is no game over in PvP. But it is true to say, Syntax does lean towards machines and
    Mero's for very simple reasons.

    It's not because all Zion are rubbish, the zion tag makes them poop blah blah... If you take a step back and look at PvP through the years, Zion have been very effective! of course more people were playing MxO those days, so more intuitive loads and ideas come into play, that have now been lost. anyway, you'll find that alot of old players have changed orgs in their time, and may recently 'not' be zion, therefore their experience lies with their current org/faction. many hardcore PvPer's just so happen to not be zion. which leads to 2 things;

  • More PvP activity from Mech/Mero
  • More experience held within these orgs
    in otherwords, Machines have more active PvPer's on Syntax, therefore outnumbering zion/merv. but also have the knowledge to deal with many situations without the long talk of tactics and counterstrikes. as Wesker said, it becomes natural to the more experienced players.

    But! this is not to say Zion do not have highly skilled PvPer's, they just don't have as many. and Merv are the same, alot of the 'few' merv pvper's are bloody good, but never have the numbers to deal with mass zergs (they put up a flippin' good fight though).

    I guess to some this up, PvP is always one sided, for those who have been playing along time will know, all Orgs have had their moments of glory. it just depends on who is what org and how many. very rarely will you find an even fight in PvP.

P.S. Do remember, when you 1st start the game you can only do Zion missions, which leads alot of 1st timers to go zion all the way! so its natural to have unexperienced PvPer's in the Zion org.
