Operatives were alerted to the presence of the Smith Virus in south Richland. After a running battle in which many operatives and programs were infected, the virus was terminated on a Mannsdale rooftop by operative TheSorrows. The following release of viral code temporarily covered a wide area of the slums with smaller infections; while most of these were quickly handled by operatives, we believe some pockets remain, for instance in north Kedemoth.

Great event for vector, his health hovered around 1/4 the whole time.

I enjoyed it, not as much as Syntax though.

...I just want to add that neither Vector or Syntax were able to match the drama from Recursion, as predicted! (We breed drama like Machines breed humans)

I thought at least one person might have mentioned "Vector events for Vector players" and sparked some drama, but thankfully not. (It's old)

I missed the actual event itself but congrats TheSorrows. When i got in went straight for a lvl 79, lets just say i died lol

man that was short it was just about an hour long.. that and i was in the wrong area the whole time, but atleast (having to leave early) found out he was dead and who killed him.

The Smith infection proved to be QUITE powerful. I was surprised how many of us it struck down and infected. His minions haunted the matrix for days after this current termination.... I suspect he is in a dark corner hiding once more till his time comes again to strike...
