A powerful manifestation of the Smith Virus in the International District evaded operatives and caused widespread havoc until it was eliminated by a large number of operatives, including the Machine operative Grod, who struck the final blow. Smaller instances of the virus erupted throughout Kowloon and nearby neighborhoods, threatening everything in the area until they were neutralized by the assembled operatives.

Congrats to Grod for delivering the final blow to the Smith Virus. But, it was a dedicated effort by all operatives in the area that lead to his demise. I, myself, was apparently too busy fighting his offspring to find the primary outbreak in time to help defeat him, but we all play our part.
