Operatives,

While it is impractical to assume that we can prevent every terrorist attack before it occurs, we must strive to be able to respond quickly to any such threat, wherever it may manifest.

Efficientemente,

Agent Pace

((I think now it's safe to assume Agent Griffin is a permanent addition to the Machine Org in regards to Org Heroes?))

Well done, my brothers and sisters.  It seems the operation was a success.

(( although, why was the CPD set off in 01?  Perhaps I am unaware of something ))

Agent Griffin eh? hmm...upgrades...definitely new for an agent..

Yes, congratulations to our Crusaders on a succesful distraction in 01! You all performed valiantly against the Machinist attack, they even had to call in the Agent to pester us into leaving! And a special thank you as well to the Machines on their efficiency, without it, the success of our operation would not have been possible. We are still going over what we acquired  from the Machines, but I shall make it known to our Operatives soon enough.

Code Pulse Bombs should really be seeing more use. I'm glad they've not been forgotten entirely and this detonation was successful.

I absolutely hate live events like these. The entire thing looked like it was impossible considering the tiny number of Mechs and the zerg number of EPNs PLUS the zerg number of EPN NPCs. I.E., filler event to tell you you failed despite the fact that, story-wise, Machine security programs and Agents would be all over those EPN like white on rice if they are really extracting sensitive information.

Agent Griffin huh???Looking forward to meeting you...SMILEY

SMILEY
Every time you casually use the word "terrorist" to attempt to pull heart strings, Pace, you further solidify your status as one of the most naive programs in the Simulation.

Normally I oppose the use of Code Pulse Devices, but it looks like this one wasn't used to forcibly awaken any bluepills, so in this case...

Bluepills can't see the code pulses SMILEY You're thinking of code bombs that Morpheus used to use!

Nobody knows this.

Well there was that topic about it one time that said it here, but I don't know! If I remember I think the reason Morpheus' bomb thingies caused people to wake up is because it let them see the code underneath the streets and stuff! If these code pulses bombs aren't supposed to put the bluepills in danger by drowning them because they woke up, I'm thinking they wouldn't be able to see them explode, or else they would! :O

Ah, I see. Thanks.

I was thinking of the things that EPN used in Machine Archive chapter 4.2 (I can't remember whether they called them "bombs" or "devices").  That was the only type of Code Pulse Device/Bomb that I knew about, until today.  Thanks for the info.
#36300436008 04/03/2008 02:39:29 Re:[9.3.5] The code pulse device was able to detonate - Vector - 3/28/08
Now what was that all about? Meh. EPN didn't achieve anything with that I'm quite sure, no matter what their liaisons would have us believe.

I reckon the whole code pulse device idea is a pile of nonsense an' all. What was the last thing they dredged up? Oh yes! A poorly constructed simulacrum of a dead idiot (with a penchant for pretentiously walking with his arms folded behind his back) made by a renegade Sentinel who's had clear intentions of inciting hatred between organisations for years. Not only was the authenticity of the Morpheus apparition in serious question, but the very idea of scanning the code of the Matrix and picking up hovercraft beacons from it was utterly ridiculous. Why on god's earth would a transmission in the Real end up embedded in archived Matrix code? Please. Code pulse devices don't do jack.
#36300436065 04/03/2008 05:07:29 Re:[9.3.5] The code pulse device was able to detonate - Vector - 3/28/08

You do realise that it was with CPDs we were able to determine that it was indeed coming from the system rather then the real (the simulacrum was set up to appear as coming from the real at first glance) as well as shutting down several of the Generals helipads with just a little added tweaking to its function.

Ignorance, may be bliss but the image it portrays speaks for itself.

The Merovingian was aware of this operation and his trusted men and women were on site, and given the situation wisely decided not to interfere but observe the new agent at a safe distance. The Frenchman knows... do you?

Bon!

Agent Griffin showed up on Syntax before, when we were following 'Agent' Murphy.
