This is the message I got from a recent trial key user:

Thanks for the reply, I'm looking forward to playing. I've downloaded the MxO game trial off your link, followed the directions, and installed it properly. However, after I open the program to the launcher and accept the agreements, a window that says "Error: Unable to load patching system interface DLL" pops up along with an internet explorer window that states the following:

HTTP Status 404 - /mxo/wblogin.vm

type Status report message /mxo/wblogin.vm description The requested resource (/mxo/wblogin.vm) is not available.

Apache Tomcat/5.0.25

I'm not sure what I did wrong to obtain this message. Could you email me on how to solve this problem? Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.

Hope you can solve his problem!  Thank you!  Phluff

Ive had this problem so many *CENSORED* time, its the IE, the reason it is IE is because the MxO launcher uses it to patch and to show current news. If the IE browser and specifically the IE browser isnt working thats your problem. But i did fix it, try these steps i used, i don't know which one really helps but if you seem to find which step helps you fix it please tell me:

1. Goto you internet explorer and goto Tools or File and if there is a checkmark next to Work Offline click it and turn it off. Now answer the question. Yes or no!

Did it work?

If it didn't please continue to number 2.

2. Ok go back to the internet explorer and tell me does it load pages, any page?

If no than please continue.

3. Make sure you firewall isn't blocking Internet Explorer, is it?

If no then continue.

4. Also your firewall might be blocking launcher.exe from connecting to the internet or the patch site, goto your settings and check and for more firewall and ports help goto another topic i made: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/...mp;#36300413704

Was it blocking?  Did you unblock? Is it working?

If it still isn't working continue.

5. If you have a router please look on my guide topic: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/...mp;#36300413704

6. If five didn't work all i did was reformat my computer and reinstalled the client and it worked, but you probably shouldn't if you don't want to.
