Alot of people hj away when their shield is broke, not just mkt/snipers.  It's everybody with ranged attacks, including healers and hackers.  If I had it my way, there would be no healers or hackers at all, and nobody would be able to sneak.  In fact, I think only MA and guns should be all the fighting trees available to play with, since that is what the movies offered.  I never heard Neo say "hey guys, let's sneak and then punt these suckers". 

Next time I see you online I'll hit you up for a duel.  You'll probably still beat me, but I'm pretty sure I won't get owned so bad anymore " />

I have been MA from 1-50 just because I love it, and I don't mind MKTs or Snipers in general. But, what bugs the *poop* out of me is when you rush at one guy, hoping for a 1v1, and by the time you get in IL you're already dead from all the knives and snipes. There is no reason for all that to be aimed at one guy.

I am actually trying Sniper right now just to try something new, and I know for a fact that I will not do any of that bogus stuff to people.

 Ok, you omit sneak but you never mentioned conceal in your criteria, where does that fall? You permit gun control but how do you permit sniping without wanting anybody "invisible"? Elaborate...

QFT Your always gonna be annoyed wity several things about the game. You just gotta pick what you like best and do your best with it. You can also circulate it... I personally went through phases wer i wanted to go MA. Then i felt like Sniping solo or goin duelist.

I'm bored of using guns, but its the best tree for me now. I load duelist when zion has numbers, but I turn to  sniper when I'm alone and there are 5 o 6 mervs at Mara (yes Bruce, mervs) are on a full team, with 3 MKTs, 2 MAs and one healer... to this team you can add some machine lol (they could to get some cq's from mervs but NO!!! they prefeer gank the EPN again and again ^_^

ya I do what he does but with zions instead of mervs :p unless i feel like practicing sniper since I'm still a bit new to it. Its a good way to first come in when your alone to scope things out and not get raped out the door or scare off any unsuspecting cowards...

that and I'd love to use MA like I used to but when it comes to pvp its not all that great on vector at least for me with the lag, I mean the tree is awsome and fighting with it is so cool but it is much better to have duels with that up against a bunch of ranged foe's thats why i like duelist so much more rounded.

sunday there was like 7 merov snipers at mara- that was no fun i must say, i believe i got pretty verbal there.

Hate to bring this up again but i ain't gonna b playin as much as i was (mainly cause of GTA w00t) but holy crap last night there was me, Mana and KD (he's bak w00t ) and i'm sure that it was a whole team of mech and about 4 or 5 zions. Guess what, none could be seen lol Mech consisted of 5 mkt and 1 sniper, 1 mkt changed which was gd but come on. All that happens is 1 mkt's evade goes down so he jumps, then another goes down so he jumps and then when 1 ends up in il, u have a sniper and some mkts hammerin into u then jumpin away when the kills bn made  Wow must be so much fun...

I know people like usin these easier trees and i ain't denyin that but its when fightin about 12 - 15 people and u'r 3 - 5 people are the only ones that can be seen kinda suxs lol

We're in pretty bad shape when we're still griping about fairness in pvp. We've played this game for how long? Was it ever fair to everyone at all times? Or even most of the time? Part of it? When I jack in I expect to get ganked. Everyone else really should do the same. If it's not a Punt, Suplex, or Snipe we'd be whining about back-to-back Kung Fu Daze specials.

O DEAR! A level 30 giving a 50 a suplex, leg sweep and deadly throw?? That must be some CRAZY damage. No way you could kill him at all. And truly if you can't outroll and ANNIHILATE the child. As much as I despise the MxO'isms of choice for the hardcore vocalist (Noob, L2ROOT, OMGEPICPWNAGE, et al), there's one that's startlingly relevant to this thread.

'Learn to play'.

I don't mean that in a disparaging/baiting manner, and I'm certainly not trying to 'impart wisdom', I just see way too much complaining about things that a) You cannot change b) You can change your own build, to combat.  There will always be MKT's, there will always be Snipers.  There will always be those who base their PvP tactics on premise of Staggering Throw - HJ, or Sniper Shot - HJ = win.  *CENSORED* at them, complain at them, use your X-fire contacts to vent about them, but don't expect things to be changed because of it.  It's just not feasible. 

A team of MKT's or/and Snipers is boring as the ensuing PvP usually consists of everyone walking around in sneak, someone runs into someone else and attacks, game over two minutes later.  However, it's their prerogative to use that build, and it's up to you to combat it.  If there's no way to, then you'll just have to accept that you can't and move on.  They'll get bored eventually and switch to something else.  If you have an entire team going against them, dust off Howitzer/Vector, get the pretty debuffs flying and enjoy your victories. 

My point is that bitching/complaining/trashing at them will not get them dead.  Adapt, and kill someone enough at their chosen build and you may just demoralise them enough into switching builds.  That's all part of PvP.  If you've forced the opposition into changing tactics, then you're very much on top.

its really simple..if your not fighting have your block tactics on. have different clothes on different hotbars with proper hypers. if you get attacked by a sniper back away...switch clothes and hyper and attack. same goes for any build. and for godsake if your getting killed by some build alot then figure out a good defense or strategy to kill it and practice it until your good.

theres no build in this game i cant beat with anyother build in this game. thats mostly just 3+ years of experience and trial and error. and of course that dosent include fights against people that are really good and experienced with their build. but its plenty good enough to survive pvp and not have these pathetic complaints to gripe about.

all of the trees in this game are good and bad. just have to make the good work for you and do what you can to prevent the bad from killing you.
