*pray's this is going to be replayable content*
(a la PB)
looks interesting anyway
I wonder if there will be a special twist to it, or will it just be 'Kill, Loot, Trade'
Still, its something to inject a little life back into Datamine.
Then we go, 'We're bore' because weve done it all.I wonder if there will be a special twist to it, or will it just be 'Kill, Loot, Trade'

SSR = Security Service Rep?

If memory serves, Rarebit said that the items that are looted are consumables - and generally more usefull than what they're traded for. I imagine that they can be traded for cool looking but unimpressively buffed clothing.

=O
new content inside datamine... yay!

Getting colder...Bah... I hate surprises... but love them when they happen....
They don't look cool AND they have unimpressive buffs?

They're consumables that can be traded for clothing with no buffs at all?
They're consumables that can be traded for 'something' that will keep the agents phrom spawning on you in datamine? ...that would be sweet. ^_^

lol... we're all gonna search at the same time and break DN1! o.O

"It's looking like I'm not going to have bosses and new clothing items done for update 59. 59 will (hopefully) open the interiors of the two main buildings, add NPCs with new consumable drops to some of those interior spaces, and add a new collector who will take those consumables in exchange for a couple items that will be useless to some people, but hopefully of significant interest to others."
Doesn't tell us much. ![]()
eeeeeee I just hope it is the security outfit...WANTBelieve it or not, me, too." />
So did any one else notice to gold code trickling up off the main on? (might be rarebit, but I hope not)
Level 41...meh...not as hard as I would have liked, hope there is a few of them.
Trading in the consumable gives you a more full featured DN1 search?!?!?!
role-play clothing?

It would be nice to have a mission-based quest (similar to the Smith quest/Pandora's Box/winter quest) that would only work in Datamine. A nice way to use those buildings...
It would be nice to have some cool RP items... consumable disguises, etc. Would be a nice way to get more people into Datamine than just $info farmers and pvpers.
EDIT: Oh, and if you don't want Agents to spawn on you in Datamine, then stop using a Scrambler 0.4. I use an Extractor 3.0 in Datamine... never had an Agent spawn once for me. Plus, it yields more $info. Sure, the spawns aren't as good, but who's in Datamine to get spawns? You can do that in Creston.
hmmmm.... I get agent spawns with my 3.0 too. :/It would be nice to have a mission-based quest (similar to the Smith quest/Pandora's Box/winter quest) that would only work in Datamine. A nice way to use those buildings...
