im about to go into sakura i think tonight on my recursion alt and do some bandana farming im just wondering what is the best way to solo tengu using MA any one have any good tips

And only thing i know about using MA on Tengu is go with a karate/kung fu mix...i think i remember someone using that and having some success some time...not that thats really all that useful but i thought i'd chuck it in.

Well, if you're a non-IL class, you can pull him outside of his little...hut thing and pull him into range of those little raised ledges you can only get to by jumping on them. Problem is, he can still knife you, and I can't remember off the top of my head if his knifes = the range of arbalest hacks.
If you're MA, keep trying to get him dazed. Normally when I get down to about half health, I roll out, run out of the hut, and jump up onto the top where he can't knife me. Then I sit, Regen my health and IS, then jump back down to finish him off. Works great.

) the best way to go about beating him is to use power, going for the double state attack (pistons into ki-charged punch). but, by far the most important thing, spam sky high like there's no tomorrow. if you can pull off a sky-high into ki-charged into pistons it can do upwards of 1k damage right there.
(spam it cause of the -40 melee res)
most important thing tho is bring a porta dish, and one hell of a lot of patience. he almost never drops his danas/masks >_<

If Tengu is still in the hut and you're using ranged attacks from one of the ledges he justs stands there and takes it. Just wait for him to get close enough to one of the exits to the building and jump on the nearest ledge.
For MA? It's been about 2 years since I did it and I'm pretty sure I had help the whole time, seeing as that's when you would actually run into other people in there, so I don't know.

Get some Health pills anti's etc etc? That might help a little.
Load up a Patch Daemon 1.0. then load Sky High Sidekick and Sidekick combo, I think you should have enough memory spare to also get Dim Mak strike and MAYBE a bit more Kung Fu. Get the sim to buff you (Love the acc buff) then IL him and spam Sky high and Sidekick combo. Farm a victory rifle too, shoot him a few times for a good chance to state him before you IL him. Your sim should hopefully shoot him into dazed a few times too so you can Dim Mak him a few times. If possible use Sky High Sidekick before you use state specials on him, lots more damage that way.
