Once again, if they didn't decide to give out 'Veteran' abilities as a joining incentive then the rest of us wouldn't have had a problem with it and would most likely not have them now. People are asking for the BET and beta clothing only because they'd really like it, not really because they'll think they'll get it.Not picking on Cap or anything, but this is an example of what I was afraid of. What's to stop the devs from giving out the Burning Eye trench or the Beta clothing, now that these other "veteran" abilities have been compromised?
And people didn't think they'd ever really get HJB or MC, either. We see what's happened there, though, haven't we?These two abilities were special, they had value. What do you give as an incentive? Something that is special, that has value. It's logical, especially if at least one of the items had been previously used as an incentive in the very same manner ("Try this game and get this special ability that no one else will have!"
" width="15" height="15">.
The fact remains that this happened because all those who did not have these two abilities were able to cry louder than those who had earned them under the conditions they were originally given out. Mob rules, I guess.
they 'were' special, but as soon as they they started giving it out to new players, it wasnt anymore.now the reason WE brought it up was because of this...nothing else
and you seem to be crying more about the fact that we brought it up than anything else tbh
Why weren't they special abilities anymore? What's your basis for making this claim?
I maintain that the items were still special, as they were still only being given out to a select group ("trial players"
.
