This Monday we will be unveiling the Pirates of the Burning Sea Buddy Key Program, which will allow customers with active accounts to invite three of your favorite people to join you on the Burning Sea with a 14 day trail - free!
The three keys will be generated just for you, and can be used at any time. The trial doesn't start until the keys are entered, and they don't expire until they've been activated.
Rhaegar will be providing download links and instructions for you to claim your three buddy keys on Monday, so keep your eyes on the headlines!

You mean the fun animations, which is like the combat here but in slow-mo and crappy, that they use for their av-com system?
Basically, no.
They are getting better though to say the least, the main combat changes are still pending I think though.

Got excited for it....got into the beta...hated it....came back to try beta later on in the development cycle...hated it.
Next looking forward to AoC, next SOE game I'm looking forward to MIGHT be the Agency, but MMFPS tends to be a.....eclectic taste.

QFE. Of all of SOE's games, MxO probably has the lowest number of subscribers. And here you are (and it's not the first time) trying to get us play another game. Go recruit somewhere else, please.

Hey! I have a Station Pass, so I like all of SOE's games, not just this one
Seriously though, if you want everyone to huddle themselves into this little corner of the SOE world be my guest, just don't start complaining when they don't mention MxO in the podcasts and so on... but that's probably going a bit wide of the mark for this.
Besides, this area of the forums is called SOE Discussion. What exactly do you expect people to discuss in this section if not other things that SOE offers? Just a thought
And yes, I do know Aether was a member of the MxO team. I do also know that it was through planning from him that created things like the end-of-beta event here. What's your point there exactly?

I'm sure the Aether comment was more random tidbit then anything else.
And while I'm sure SOE is glad you're a fan of all of their many games, and yes this is the correct section of DN1 for posts of this nature to be made, this is also The Matrix Online community, which will always react poorly to anything that might decrease membership, or that they feel is trying to attack people away from this game.
While you did nothing wrong in the technical sense, there will be members of the community who will feel that it is a "moral offense" and react in kind.

Anyway, I didn't like PotBS, it was a huge let down.

Not recruitment. I love MxO as much as the next person, but the 'countless times' people from MxO have msged me on X-fire saying is that game any good/ Is there a trial. An I have to go..no there isnt. Well now there is.
Its your choice whether you play a game. I merely show that this trial is here to play. If you dont like it matey, you can take a hike.
If you dont like the game, then thats fine. Though there are people in mxo who wish to trial the game. I aint gonna not show them a trial just because you dont like it.
OH and what if Virrago had posted this, would you have told him to 'recruit' elsewhere. Grow up guys.

I will admit, I did not notice until someone said... this was in the SOE discussion section. So, that does make it 'ok'... though as an 'MxO player', I wouldn't have posted it. Would have been better as an announcement straight phrom SOE, like they have done before.
To make it right... you could go over to POTBS phorums and advertise the buddy keys we have available on MxOSpace to play MxO. Just a suggestion.
