Ok so Im enjoying the game its a pretty good game - very deep and complex skill tree that allows you to really do many different things and setups I think it is quite good. I really like the way they did the combat - it is a bit slower if you get into melee because it is kindof choreographed but this allows for all those cool slow-mow moves and I like the way it is done not too bad. I have leveled to around level 7 and completed an amount of the inital Zion contact missions to where I have been given additional contacts with the Machines and I think it was Vorringians? , something like that.

Ok on to the main question of my post. What is the difference between these three factions Zion, Machines, Vorringian? Is there any difference aside from whichever you pick you will be enemies with the other two? I keep hearing about some Construct faction? What is that? Also, I am playing on the pvp server Vector. Thank you!

Heheh, those are "Merovingians". SMILEY

I'm not sure how much you know about the Matrix story outside of MxO, but you're right in that whatever organization you go with, you will be an enemy of all the other orgs. I think the faction "construct" you've heard about is the outpost areas. Those are specific to your organization. Zion has a fairly dilapidated area with a dojo and a shooting range. "Mervs" as most of us call them have a "chateau" area, a little like the one in Reloaded. The Machines have an area that looks a little like a holding facility or a prison.

Hope that helps a little. SMILEY

There are a lot of differances among the three orgs, but I'll try to keep it as brief as possible. Zion fights for the free and freed humans and their protection. The Machines protect the system and the machines that depend on it. The Mervs are the neutral organization, protecting the Merovingian's holdings and the Exiles within it. . . but that's not to say we don't mind taking the occasional jab at either Zion or the Machines, or finding ways to pit the one against the other (It's also the one with the most flexible RP, if that's what you're aiming for).
