Hi im new to the Matrix Online and I am thinking about starting out on this pvp server. I am a pvp veteran from many other mmos. How rough would it be for someone who hasnt played Matrix to start out on this server? I gather level range makes a huge difference in who can kill who and I will have a hard time staying alive in the Matrix start level 16? Thank you.

If your a "pvp vet" then dont think twice, Vector is the way to go.
Vector= All PvP, All the time!
If you want a challenge, go Machines, it's 'Hard Mode'.
On here, like the other posters have said its 24/7 pvp. Differences in level have massive differences in pvp, so unfortunately, unless you're in a team as a aid (like a healer), then pvp is a bit pointless until you cap. As for being flagged from level 16, it doesn't make that much difference, you'll just get ganked occasionally while you're grinding.

MXO has hyperjump though which for a lowbie if used correctly you can avoid alot of things. Other games don't have this so just be smart about it.

Vector is THE Matrix, don't let what "others" have opined here deter your coming here. If you want the TRUE sense of danger of being in the matrix then come to vector. We have the challenge as well as the story here. Irregardless of what may be posted after this, you will make the right choice in joining our little slice of this world.

It's good to see new faces around here. Though it is a little more of a challenge here to make progress than in other places, like the others have said, it's definitely more interesting and more rewarding. I'm sure it'll be good to see you around, regardless of what side you choose.

Vector is more like the Matrix then any of the other servers. Yeah, you will get ganked occasionally while lvling but you will learn more about the game that way.
Ask yourself....did Smith ever ask Neo to flag up so they could fight? Nope...so why would you wanna play on a server that isn't hostile.
