I realize the concept of awakening is specific to MxO, very few actually believe that the Real World (no no not the desert of the real) is a Matrix - Maybe it is actually, but who cares? In the end there are no answers and the terms awakening, truth, enlightening are just more lies. Our only Truth, the one we want to believe, is the Truth that makes us special and strong.

Reality and truth are concepts that will be forever blurred, simply because there are so many versions of the two. That does not mean that any or all of those 'versions' are wrong.
The term 'awakened' in the context that it is used in the Matrix, signifies a person as enlightened, or having a realization that many do not have. While our characters are awakened (enlightened), we would be arrogant and egotistical to say that our out-of-character personas were enlightened in any way, shape or form. Knowledge and information are both very subjective things, and I do not know more than any one of you. Likewise, despite what any of you may think, none of you know more than I do. We all know as much as each other, but that knowledge is scattered to various topics and fields that others may not have.
In the end, it all goes back to Socratic Method. The first step in enlightening yourself to anything is the willingness to admit how little you really know.

Yes there is stuff we can do, but legally all we can do is inform everyone. Who knows what the real truth is about anything, but if your choice is to chase after it, there is alot more out there.

I can guarantee that I'm awakened to the reality of this being the real world. Because trust me if this was some computer simulated 'paradise' or 'ideal simulation' I wouldn't be overweight or balding.

See now I have a bit more respect for you, I was posting that under the impression that you were back to your old ways again, what with all the tosh and bollocks etc, but if your out and about and not glued to this game again then I'll start being nice to you.
