Hey, I'm really new and I was wondering; does anyone play?
I get on and see no one at all.
Just wondering if anyone's still around!
Thanks

If you can't see anyone, type "/who" to get a list of players that are in your area.
I typed who and only found 2 people
One of them being me heheh.
I suppose it might be time zone-issues, I guess- I usually logon around 3pm-11pm Florida time.

Vector is long dead, had to shift all of my characters to syntax it was that bad.

Either MxO is alive and kicking or it has the most sophisticated AI ever and all of you aren't real.... but that could mean I am not real...

the /who command may be a bit miss leading for players that haven't read an explanation of how MxO's servers are setup.
The /who command only returns players on your specific region server.
What's a region server, I can hear you asking. Well a region server is an application that supports "part" of a zone. For example all of Richland/Westview is supported by several Region Servers this allows if there is a lot of server/client latency in a specific area it doesn't effect the entire 'zone' or district as we call it.
If you want to get a feel for who is on by using the /who command jump to a hardline in different neighborhoods then use it. While the neighborhoods are not the boundries of the region servers (the RS cover a bit more area than a neighborhood) its good enough.
For reference;

Do you have a map for all these RS so it's even an easier reference to everyone on how to use those /who???
Not explicitly.
