I wonder which one of Zipp's family it was this time....

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — A squirrel is blamed for an electrical outage in Fort Worth that affected thousands of customers and prompted a boil-water advisory for parts of the city.

Oncor spokeswoman Carol Peters says the rodent Friday got into a substation and made a connection between two high-voltage points, causing an arc.

Peters told The Associated Press that the transformer sensed the surge, caused by the now-deceased squirrel, and shut down.

Service was interrupted to about 10,000 customers and two Fort Worth water department pumping stations. Electricity was restored within one hour.

That's just what the Machines want you to think really happened to Brian Gauss! :o

But seriously, I bet that squirrel's last words were:

"Don't tase me bro!"
