After my latest experience, I feel I should add my 2 cents to this.
In a game that so thoroughly encourages faction-based and team-based cooperation, the rewards for live events are sorely contradictory. They are entirely based on the actions of one, not a group.
I don't know if it's ever possible to reward everyone who works hard and puts forth their full participation during an event, but it's high time we started trying. Because this lone-wolf based reward is... frustrating.
Surely, something can be set up to record Most Damage, and not just killing blow. Don't reward based on luck - that just frustrates everyone except the one person who just happened to fire at the perfect time.
Please, devs. It would do wonders for the events - no one could ever argue against the person or group that did the most damage deserving to be rewarded.
