Everyone here has events that have money or some kind of reward that would seem worth participating for.

The outcome was just as he planned it to be. Jack died. Many did try to rally to his defense, but in the end it was his own allies that killed him. Ironic, isnt it? Those that were meant to be his enemies defended him, while those that were meant to be his allies killed him. His point was proven. Title means nothing. Luckily there are more like him in this world. We will not mourn his death, but remember his words of wisdom. We are the thinkers, and those that killed him are the Do'ers. From what I understand yes.
As frustrating as the peace stance in the current climate of war (Most know I was a supporter of the truce when it was still around) was, I admire the level on which Jack took his beliefs to and I remember better times for our org when we fought for the same things.

I neva really had a problem with him apart from the fact that me bein MA, jumpin down to fight the zerg and what normal mech do is help mervs when we're low on numbers, he'd wait till u'r in il and spam those knifes.
The devs just really need to sort out the def system to make it that u can defend against more than 1 tree. Its pvp not duels that we're afta.

What Playdoh said. I had no use for jack, he didn't pvp on our side, yet stand and have biscuits with the people who we're killing machs. So unless he goes Zion or Merv, it's not a loss for me.
Though I am disappointed if he actually leaves due to doing this attention seeking event. It'll be another loss to the community, and we can all use a few extra people posting tripe on the forums.
