As for the summary, the inclusion of the age of the machine record seemed deliberate... What was happening exactly 2 months ago? Can anyone remember/be bothered to look it up?

I think it just shows that the Machines knew the Intruder wanted a biological interface program before Redpills found out. It's not that important I don't think, because a couple of the crits have already told us the Machines knew that. There's probably something more to it.
