Why did you format and reinstall twice? Was this purely to sort and mxo error?
Have you updated all your drivers?

reformatted once, Mxo twice. No i just installed the drivers i got with the hardware.
I would search for the latest drivers for you card 1st off and anything else you can get your hands on, especially after formatting your machine.
Not too sure what you mean buy the windows doanload error sound? If you have gotten past the character selection screen then you should have the game patched so it wouldnt need to download anything else.

Youtube "window sounds" You can find videos of people playing the window sounds and telling what they mean.
Ok, upgrading the video driver worked, but When i started attacking someone my computer started to mirco freeze. Like every 4 seconds the computer freezes just for a split second. So if i am moving my mouse it stops, but when the freeze stops the mouse is where it should be.
It would help if we knew something about your system. Please read this link:

RichardM is right that we would benefit from some system information (see the rules about posting your DXDiag at the top of the Forum), but in the meantime, one thing this does remind me of is firewall issues. Sometimes I'd get what you're describing if my firewall hadn't been told to allow the launcher (launcher.exe) and the program (matrix.exe) through.
Let us know more information, though--I hope that is helpful to you.

I found what was causing my problems was that i had a bad stick of RAM, once i removed it the game ran without problems. I also opened up my computer and set a fan near it to keep my Video card cool. Figured it couldn't hurt. Thank you for your help.
