How 'seriously' do you play your in-game characters?
Is there a definite line between 1 who may be Mech and 1 who may be Merv or is it somewhat blended (meaning while they are different orgs and you keep them seperate, their personality is similar)?
How would you handle the following situation IC?
Your character is Zion and has openly opposed EPN tactics for some considerable time, with the lack of the truce and Zions willingness to work with EPN, you find yourself wondering why you opposed EPN tactics for such a long time.
You have 'softened' to them, but still dont like them.
For various reasons you have been debating/toying with the idea of joining EPN as their philosophy seems closer to your own than Zion.
How would you handle this IC?
Would you simply u-turn, join EPN and disregard previous RP statements or would you subtly move yourself into an RP position that allowed you to join EPN and still keep your character RP fluid?
If you wish, you can substitute Zion/EPN for Mech/Cyph or whatever.
This is a straight forward question - Id rather it didnt spiral out of control and turn into an outright flame-fest.
Im simply curious about how other people RP their characters in game - this whole thread should be taken as entirely OOC - as you would be talking ABOUT your character, not AS your character
